OK can this quest be MQ? Im a high elf mage and whenever i go to Qeynos i get attacked.Since Qeynos Guards attack me,can i go to freeport?And yes i have invis but wouldnt the quest giver attack me?

Is this clickable from the inventory? I'm lvl 32 at the mo, gonna farm these with my main and try to get the drop, nice item! Anyone know what lvl they become clickable?

i a lvl 54 mage wanted to get a no drop robe b4 i ended this game now its either the wife or the game. hmmmmmm not sure which to decide.

From everything I've read, these armor quests appear to be quite challenging.
Clickable Effect: shield of lava? Summon bandages? How about Focus effect: FT, of any level.
Haven't we earned that by this level?
Don't get me wrong, the other stats on the robe are quite nice and most magicians would benefit from wearing it. I just wish the effects were more in line with the difficulty of obtaining the robe.
On another note; for those tank types that have commented we magicians just sit on our butts and toss in a nuke when the mood strikes us while our pets do all our dirty work:
/rant on - You clearly have no idea what it means to be a magician. We are slaves to our mana regeneration. Nuking too often or too early is a fast track to the top of the mob's hate list. Doesn't that make your job tougher? So yes, we don't start nuking right away. Yes, we don't want to nuke too often. Yes, we must spend a lot of time sitting and watching our mana bar refill oh-so-slowly, while you pull mobs non-stop.
While I'm sitting there my pet is at your side helping pummel your opponant, or better yet, being set on those troublesome adds to keep them occupied, take the hits, and mete out damage until you have time to get to them. Doesn't that make your job easier? These are some things magicians contribute while we're just "sitting on our butts". /rant off

This robe is not white its not black, it looks like a FBR just its dark green and where the design's are it fades to a very darkish brown/black..

under the fashion table in the web, there shows a high elf male wearing a white robe and it said that was the summoner's robe. If the summoner's robe suppose to look black, what that white robe is? anyone knows?

That picture you are referring to is a high elf magician wearing netted kelp, its not the summoner's robe.

I like the stats on this robe. But, like all the velious mage robes, I hate the effect. I never use shield of lava anymore, and probably never will. I wish that effect would have been CoH or something that a lvl 60 mage would actually use.

I'm a 54 mage. Let me tell you, the effect may not seem to be anything special or out of the ordinary, but it is a huge mana saver. Save 120 mana per tank and pet, it's easily worth it - saves mana to cast nukes, malo, and COH (don't have CoH yet, next lvl).

you wanna know something thats a huge mana saver? look up the kunark brestplates, now those are mana savers, this? this is a creampuff on the sleepers ***, almost completly useless, now if it was boon of immoltion (our group ds of this) now that would be nice, this, this is ****, really it is.

first of all, at 56 we get a better ds, and it's very unlikely that you'll be using shield of lava after that. second, the robe has a 15 second cast time. this means that if you're on a raid and your chanters aren't slackers *cough* you'll have clarity 2, and in the time you could use the robe's effect you could sit down and meditate enough to cast cadeau of flame (155 mana). hope this clears up why this effect is useless.

Anyone have a pic of this worn? On erud pref. All black sounds nice, I like the look of Rainment now on my erud mage :)

Well this robe should cut the apothic robe up into tiny pieces, kick it around then throw it in the trash for how difficult it is to get. Why? If you have EVER been to ToV you'd know. There have been ToV raids going on on my server for about 3 months now, daily. Take a guess how many ancient silk robes have dropped....0.00000. How many apothic robes drop DAILY? Almost one daily with the new minibosses, and when was the last time a rev conned red to a level 60? Cause plenty of stuff in ToV cons red to me and hits everyone for 400s with a 300 damage AE (regular mobs). This robe is a much much rarer drop off of much much harder mobs, AND you need good faction with giants/tormax, AND you need to throw in 3 fairly rare gems, AND for a mage to even be invited to ToV on my server they have to be pretty much level 60 for mala, or if they are desperate at least 55 for CoH...don't have that kinda requirements on hate. Honestly, why should the hate robe be better? Thats like whining that CTs robe is better then the hate robe...c'mon.

What do you expect it to be the newbie guild trainer robe? As much as Verant sometimes messes up in their risk vs reward this is not one of those times. This robe should be (and I agree it is) better than our planar robe. ToV is much much harder than the planes.

it's not entirely black, there's some green in it. it looks exactly like the necro kael robe, except darker. here, have a look for yourself.
