yea that is nice.. .. but personally as a necro its not to hard to find sta items for your back.. which are much more important then str and int.. the mana n hp plus the ac make this ubber.. but imagine if it was 10int 10sta 50hp 50m.. now that would be the ultimate necro back item lol.. taygarr wiz of the 55th season the seventh hammer
For most melee STA first at higher levels. From what those I've grouped with have told me, they get around 300 hp when I cast degen, which is a 20 sta buff. So for 10 sta you get about 150 hp. I would assume - although I play a necro, not a warrior - that they get the same formula for hps off sta as we get for mana off int.
That isn't to say you shouldn't have +hp items, but until you hit the soft cap, sta is normally treated just like int/wis for casters.
I just got one of these tonight. Killin Innoruuk rules and this cloak is awesome. However, this cloak has been updated so that ALL large races can use it now, not just Iksar. So that means Barbs, Ogres, Trolls and Vah Shir can now use also. Just an FYI in respsonse to the last post.
OK The idea of race specific items seems pretty cool , but there is a big problem with this item. 1) most melle that are capable of taking down inny, "normally" will have a haste item in the cloak spot in the first place i.e. cloak of flames / crystalline waters, seb cloak ect. not everyone, but alot of them. Secondly, as an iksar monk, this item really pisses me off being 1.0 weight, sure its not HEAVY, but they should have made this thing 0.1 or something close, i mean come on its off inny. and 3rd and one of the biggest, this cloak isnt even iksar only anymore, which ALL of inny's drops are supposed to be. You see, when they added the the beastlord's with luclin alot of items got messed up. Basically what happend was this, if an item was usable by a race that BL's can be (for instance this cloak is supposed to be IKSAR ONLY), they messed up in the coding and instead of just adding BST to the usable class, they also added ALL the RACES that beastlords can be( all large races) So to keep it simple this cloak should have been changed to: Class : war, shd, mnk, shm, nec, BST Race : Iksar
now everytime this Gdamn thing drops some iksar has to freaking roll against all the other races, while all the other items are fine adn some ogre war can actually wear this. how stupid, and i KNOW they are aware of this, but they are to busy being greedy with legends and other crap to fix it, bastuds. ok flame me if you want, that is the truth. if you dont belive me, look up some other IKSAR only items, they are all messed up, altho they have fixed some, but not others, helmet of rile from karnors was the same way till they fixed it. hope this info helps, and i hope someone sees this and gets the crap fixed.

this is much better than a cloak of shadows or heirophants cloak for some of those classes you fool.
also, wtf is sebilis armour?? i assume you are refering to Donals. Well clearly if you were so well learned like you claim you would know that donals drop in KC and Seb. Also... i dont think its too judgemental to assume you arent in a good guild and you will never EVER have a shot at getting donals greaves or donals bp. So ETHERAL mist (yes you spelt it incorrectly too, no suprises) would be a much viable option.
Considering who this drops off of, I actually kinda think it could be better too. As far as ease of attainment, Cloak of Shadows drops like rat ears off of giant rats compared to this cape. Not saying this is a bad piece (cause its quite awesome).... but given how hard Inny is, think it should be 20 AC and 100 mana and HP. Oh, and BTW, if you don't know what sebilite armor is, 20 bucks says you aren't even in a guild capable of offing Innoruk, god of hate. And yes, as a 58 cleric, the only time I wear any ethereal mist pieces is when I need the CHA off the bracer for selling/buying =) Dorfs tend to be oogly, even with the epic.
Ya gotta love people like this. Starts flamin someone for not being educated in the world of EQ equipment and such...when obviously he just made an *** out of himself cuz he himself doesn't know **** about it either...lol
umm.../sigh get back to killing fire beetles for experience.

sebilis armor is Sebilite Scale armor, it has very good stats, and nice ac, there was no reason to flame if you don't know what you were talking about, I would take some seb scale armor over donal's, so, shh shh
Actually, IKS were never supposed to get gear this good. The trade off, we were told, was that since IKS have such great starting and innate skills, that they would never get high AC gear or plate. Thier natural high AC was the ballance, along with regen, forage (right), highest starting wisdom, and infravision was supposed to be good enough to keep them from getting gear of this calliber. For whatever reason, the powers that be have decided that IKS should now, in addition to thier other strengths, get such fine items. I'm not complaining. I mean, who would you rather group with, an IKS with or without great gear? I see a lot of posts with people ******** on this subject. It's sad, as it just comes across as petty and jelous. If IKS getting stuff like this bugs you, go make a lizard and acquire the stuff for yourself.
Obviously, Verant (correctly) decided that the iksar's starting advantages did not balance the disadvantages of having crap for armor. First Noctivagent armor from Growth, now Greenmist, Scaled Heirophant, and Legionnaire's armor, and of course now this race-specific drop from Inny (which is, incidentally, a very interesting idea -- race specific drops for everybody.)
And yes, Fenris, I totally agree that the whine posts from players of non-iksar are petty. (FYI -- a level 60 iksar monk, naked, has 40 more AC than a human monk with the same skills. [source: Monkly Business] Not *that* great a gap, now is it? It hardly made up for the lack of equipment.) And as an iksar SK pointed out on another board; suffer through 45 levels of hell, with bad equipment and worse faction, and you bloody well deserve a reward of some kind.
Also, verant had it planned that iksar would get nice equipment, they just couldnt think of where to put it, and that putting it in w/ the release of kunark would be kinda backward b/c most iksar wouldnt be able to loot it for a good while
