How this game changes in a couple of years, Lord Bob can be taken with 2 people or even soloed ill bet. anyway the turban is probably his best drop IMHO.
This is the only thing i want off of Lord Bob. Im an enchanter. Id never wear the thing, but being a frequent dueller, resist cold would be nice. So id put in my name for the roll.

the effect alone means ALL except those who can cast a much better resist cold.. i.e. druids.
But i would put this on my rogue because the agility = AC and the 25 base AC kicks butt

Does this look like a blue turban if I put it on my head?
This is one of the few items that i might agree is best for a monk. Just trobles me that Verratn keeps putting all all on them.

Please, go to the search equip section and do a search for human shadowknight headgear, then rank it by AC. So, what do we have now? Well, we have about 5 or 6 helmets that are dropped in ToV, we have the crowns of Dain and the giant king and we have the Kael headgear. That's it! After the above mentioned helmets comes the turban. Sooooo, me being on the dwarf faction, tell me now, is this a great item for me? I can see myself doing this guy with 2 groups in a couple of levels however me and my guild have a long ways to go before we do ToV. I really would like you to respond to this. Should I be in the running for the turban or not?

Sorry to rain on your parade, but the ussual lvl for characters even accepted into groups to lvl up in the velks is 53+. id also like to know how the fight goes. Personally I feel its a bad idea to move any where near far into the velks without a group of 55+ and in near uber gear. Your helmet will be a lot better than this by that time. Thats just my guess, try it out and report back though. Just be ready to have a necro ready for some major corpse recoveries;) Oh yeah, our group was attacked by a mob from the castle gates in velks, and we were in the RR, or right room, our group didnt make it out alive, any of us. The mobs hit me personally for over 300 per hit. Now thats not something 2 groups of ill armored characters can handle. Get at least 4 groups...

sorry to rain on your parade, but we did this guy when we were still on Dorf Faction with about 4 groups ~55 so it´s not impossible that he will get there soon (even though 2 groups is a bit off)
anyway, if your gear is superior to this why do him at all?
oh and salute to the necro that earns a fortune from you.. a bard or chanter could do the CR at no cost ;o)

This is a monk item but that doesnt mean other classes cant have it too. Look at that AC!!! I (a rogue) would die for it. ALL/ALL means everyone.

to you genius monks out there...if your doing this mob in general your doing it with your guild we do it mostly with 3 very strong groups but have done it with 2 strong groups..if your guild is doing it, it will go to monks first fine and dandy unless your guilded with a bunch of fools..then warriors ....but your not going to be rolling for it..its not a pickup group item.
monks dont seem to get this that all the loot they whine about etc on these boards is NOT ROLLED ON LOOT. You dont go to kill the statue of rallos zek with the druid that gave you a port and his cleric buddy, you dont roll on his loot against the necro who you helped to clear crushbone when you were a newbie (last week for some of you).

Actually I've lead two "pick up group" raids on Bob (what he's called on my sever). Both were successful. This Helm is randomed off to generally the melee unless the GRS doesn't drop (which is rare he seems to always have it) in which case it goes to all. Bob already drops alot of nice monk stuff - Staff, Tunic, Wristband (Warriors don't roll on the tunic or wristband because at 50+ a war has better then an ac 25 tunic) So the boots and this hat go to either melee only or all.
I do agree with you though peeps shouldn't be sitting here arguing over who it's best for etc because it's up to the raid leader to decide. I just happen to be raid leader.

ALL means Everyone
This is very good for monks but that does not mean it is automatically for them. Even a warrior would like this. Please do not simply go up to items and insist on it being made for one class only. I really hate it when people do that (unless they have good reason to).

It means just that, this item isn't for any specific class.
In groups I believe in need before greed, if this benefits you, why shouldn't you roll? On the other hand, if you are rolling to sell then I have problems.
At anyrate, ANY class would benefit from the 25ac, not just monks.

Only the kael and SS helms are better for the other melee classes (except warrs). I can see this going to a non monk, especially if lord D dropped several of his low weight pieces.

I am a monk, and ta tell you the truth, anything under weight 1.0, and has even partly descent stats SHOULD be called a monk item. Simply cause we are jipped from AC usually, and thisa is one of very few items that acctually has a special ability for monks as well. Stop complainin, it's all/all, you can get it if ya go solo em for all i care, but for the most part this is a monk item <Grin>
I want this for me me and me. But if I lost out on a roll to a monk, I would concur that this is a great monk item. But 25 ac on helm that rangers can use? EGADS, or for anyone for that matter. I would only be upset if a caster wanted in on the roll :O

If the weight isn't submitted Allakhazam's defaults to 0.0 so I'd wait until the picture is submitted until getting all hot and bothered.

0.0 with 25Ac and 15 Agility? Toss in the Endure Colds for fun and enyone would love this hat. Monks, on the other hand, would kill for this as a chestpiece! Now *that* is a nice Monkly hat.
I agree...as a paly I wouldn't mind this at ALL, but damn...I don't know if I can b-slap all the monks away while I'm rolling for it :) (ok, so I won't be rolling for it for a LONG time..but ya know what I mean) :)
