Alright, I got a stoopid question for anyone who's gotten this.
Could, say, a Ranger who's sick of bumming ports off of dr00d friends use one of these without equipping it?
Oh, and question number 2(I lied =P): How often do these drop?

This item is right clickable for porting (not gating) to Nektulos forest.

Anyone know if the effect of this item has a casting time, and if so, what it is?
The posters above state that the effect has the standarda casting time...which for Nek portal is 16 seconds. This is another reason that this item should be a backup evac...much longer casting time than a proper evac spell.

I think this proc is pretty useful if u wanna get out of dungeons u need to gate/port out of (kaesora)...although u have gate, might not be memmed...or even oom. I also think this things great for Hate raids (on Eci, we usualy meet in Nek at the portal). I have no clue when this procs, but hey, still pretty useful =)
Sure hope this doesn't proc. that would make it the worst item in the game. You're beating away at some mob, got it down to a sliver of life, and it procs -----> suddenly you're in Nek. Its a right click effect, not a proc.

An item that actually ports you somewhere??? Usstan might have to change classes to wizard.
sure, you can also do ranger (i believe it's called tolan BP), right click port to faydwer somewhere.

From what I've read of that BP, it's a port (self only of course) to LFay, near the Gfay zoneline. Got a ranger friend that I'm sure would love to have it. Just more knowledge off the main topic, but that's me.
