No such thing as an agnostic Ranger, you HAVE to choose a god to follow. WE's are restricted to Tunare, human/half elf have the choice of Tunare or Karana, that's it for choices.

Rangers cant be Agnostic Twit they have to be tunare or Karana.....

I really feel jilted. I picked a human Karana ranger. I can't see in the dark, can't do the new cool fletching they are deeloping for elves only, human cultural armor is plate, my home guild has very limited services, I can't use teh new POG stuff, and I DID NOT get any exp advantage from going teh Human route as a ranger. And I had the 40% penalty to fight thru til I was 51 and they removed it.
Just seems strange since the head man in charge is a ranger of Karana......

yes but as human u have far superior melee stats than the weakling elves. so quit yer whining. plus/minus to all or is unbalanced

not all Human Cultural is Plate, they are one of the few classes that get both Plate and Chain...Seafarers is chain and made in Freeport

Look at it another way.. you can join a PoG raid without thinking of faction.
there are always drawbacks when there is a plus.
guess there are more.. this game is starting to split guilds and friends on what faction they have.

All I can say is I hope by the time I am 55 the new "Karanas" zone will be up and running.
It's too bad that half the ranger's out there
(human and the half-elves of Karanas) are left out!

Yes and you forgot that half of the Druids are left out of the Tunare only Druid item quested for in PoG.

I am a Human Ranger of Tunare, from Surefall of course. So only those humans who chose Karana are up the creek... Not that I am anywhere close to even getting something this nice....being a mere 16th level.
Still sucks...but I guess, maybe "religion" is taking a more active roll in the game other than just making you KOS to evil religions.

nah... Just means Tunare is the best ranger diety and all other rangers suck. Being tall, skinny and blind you all shall fall. The wood elves shall reign superior as Tunare wills and make females of other dieties their love slaves!! ermm... what's role playing?

Wood elves are frail, feeble excuses for melee classes and should always have 2 or 3 big tough friends to hide behind, should a mob actually turn and fight. Only a wood elf really needs this str posthesis, so I don't see what the rest of you are mad about. )

Can Karana rangers use this helm as well, or is it deity? Since it's PoG, I would assume it's tunare only but just to make sure... :)

This item doesn't drop from a kill, it is the result of a quest.

Faction is unimportant once you get the item, only what God's name is listed as the one you worship on your stats screen is taken into account for equipping the item.

The effect of the Helm is not triggered, it is permanent.
