I find it amusing that all of you say why would you even want these for a twink... you need to wake up and realize that not everyone has a lvl 60 druid that they can go get the best items in the game for their lower lvls, or mabye some of us (unlike most of you) have enough dignity not to sit in EC for a week and beg for gear because your too pathetic and lazy to do anything yourself, dont bash an item just because you thinkn it sucks, in all honesty, no one gives f*** what you or anyone else thinks, so just keep your dislike to yourself and stop degenerating the forums with your pathetic wellbeing.

I wear these at level 36 on my monk and weigh 13!!! these are very nice monk gloves for people who dont have heavy weapons, or heavy armor, And as for you people saying this is merchant crap and to sell them to merchants for 5pp hell ill buy em from ya for 5pp need some gloves for my beastlord and have been offered 1k on veeshan for these.

I have to agree with the quit whining guy, these items are nothing more than the junk loot we would find in say, Mistmoore. Yes, they are nice and a alternate or noobie would love to have them.
I personally would where these for 1 reason, there arent many caster gloves out there, outside the planes or questing...i would love these

These Skyshrine items look to be the Skyshine Zone equvalent to Fine Steel weapons and Bronze Armor that dropped in old world Dungeon zones.
Its NOT supposed to be Uber, its just a nice low level magic item that actually has selling value to lower level players than to just sell them for 5pp to a merchant.

If you need level 45 to get this, it is not much of a twink -- think of what a 45 could afford. There are better things out there for twinking.

Anyone going to wear these at 45+? If you even think about you need to slow down on the honey meads a bit till your tolerance gets up a bit higher. =-)

hmmmm Maybe a CASTER with maxed INT without gloves, then these may be nice for them. Never assume that no one wants them just because YOU don't. There are people who may like a 7AC glove with STR. Besides, alot of level 20's would love to pay good plat for them.

I'm sorry but I find it hard to believe people would even want them for their twinks except maybe a monk but the weight looks a bit much. Why would people not want them? 4 str isn't that wonderful and if a caster class had their int maxxed there are always resists and AC to work on. STR is rather trivial and by now surely you could have saved up enough for a bag of the tinkerers or two or three etc. And a level 58-61 *RARE* drop according to manaz assuming he's correct? Bah. I'd laugh at someone trying to fetch 1k out of these in even the lowbie zones. Maybe a caster who was uberly twinked perhaps... But very doubtful for someone post 50.

To obtain these gaunts you must kill Loach's in Skyshrine. Loach's are lvl 58-61, doable with one group but usually lose a person or 2. Crap like this dropping from a dragon level encounter is a slap in the face, not to mention these are a RARE drop usually Loach's drop a couple silver and every once in a while a Peridot

hehe doesnt always drop from loach's. SS is from me, we have got multiple pairs of gloves off the Fe'dhars.
Btw it looks like the default entries for new items is uncommon, worth 1k, and 45th level since I didnt submit any of that info. So those people complaining about the price and level need to enhance thier calm ;)
