Scars of Veliousgot this robe last night (well early this morning) and then we went to kill vindi / Statue of rz... well oom on statue but i still had DPS flowing.. good stuff
btw after malo conflag hit about 80% of the time
20mins after wearing the robe someone told me i was pink... i prompltly went off to get dyes =)

Ive had this robe since 49, its great for soloing the giant fort in BW and great in any grp. I have had the effect land on tier 4 MoBs in hate with np at all... When in a grp, assist the puller and start your robe working asap, by the time the effect goes off, the MT will have aggro....Robe, Frozen Harpoon, Robe, Harpoon.. one dead MoB in no time at all with very little mana spent and no aggro when in a grp.
Stats could be better...but the effect is what this robe is all about

thanks for the info on the bio orb and this robe it really does work well. this robe is great simply because when ur in a regular group it saves u alot of mana or if ur oom just use this. since i got this i have not gone oom yet. only problem is it does get reisted sometimes, but im not complaining.

wouldnt be too bad i guess if when ya go oom or lom, be on mount and just use this while ya med, still do dmg and meding at the same time ;)

Compare this nice robe to jbb:
JBB is 263 dmg per 8 seconds
Robe is 625 dmg per 15 seconds
JBB is 1972.5 dmg per minute
Robe is 2500 dmg per minute
Also, since the robe does bigger chunks, further apart, you'll need to recast root less since it will get less breaks due to nuking. As far as not being able to sit when using either anymore, having a horse can substitute this in some zones.

Your root argument does not hold water. If anything, you need to cast root more often because it times out while waiting for a 15 sec nuke. At 625 dmg per pop, barring resists, you will also need to nuke more often, thereby needing root more often.
This is all of course based on root and nuking a mob while soloing. Which no one bothers to do because it is not worth the time/mana compared to quad kiting.
Given all of that, it is still a a nice robe.

A cool thing to do with this robe and a Bioluminescent Orb is go to Western Wastes and kite Rhinos and the mammoths. snare it and blind it so it runs and use DD effect. you use 10% mana snaring and it takes 2 or 3 minutes to kill cause they have 8k +hp but its easy and good exp even at level 60. Just dont try this is KoS to CoV hehe.

i just got this robe last night, the look of it is very unique, this is why i like it compared to other robes. The 25fr will help alot in ToV and the FREE 625 nuke will help me finish off the raptors a little easier. I am sure when i am lvl 60, i will be landing the conflags on statue/vindi but i am pretty happy with it now, the extra hps/mana are very nice also as well as the 15 ac. There were 3 wizards at that raid, 2 of them have kael robe so this defaulted to me :), kinda like table scraps. Its definitely an upgrade to my current robe, tola robe so i am happy.

That's why you go on a raid like this having thoroughly researched the drops and having classes there that can use them or alts sitting at the zone.

Blue server people have NOTHING to do except item camp and pharm for 00ber l00t. They can group with whoever they want whenever they want however they want and go do the things that have not been done on the PvP servers yet.

The spell is not magic based, it is fire and I fail to see how this robe is worthless. A clickable (read: FREE) 625 dmg in 15 seconds is terrific. Considering that you SIT while the effect is going off, this dmg is totally free. It's painfully obvious that many of the posts here come from those with no knowledge of the high level game or of large scale raids.
I've landed conflag from this robe on Dain, Vindi and the Statue of Zek. I've added 8 clicks (5000 dmg) to my total output with this robe. Add to that 15 AC, 75 Mana, 40 HP, 25 Sv Fire and 10 Int and I sure can see how this robe is worthless... Sheer idiocy...

The spell it casts is a lv 44 Magic DD that dose MAX 625). No info on the item itself though.
