you need 3 crushed topaz @ 1200-1500 on sol ro, or a good velks group. you need a raid sized group to hopefully get the corroded to drop. you need to not want to use SCHW in hand slot that you slaved to buy at level 40 or so (and that you farmed anyway while getting the gems). You need to ignore the fact that you can buy crystal chitin gauntlets (20 AC 10 STR? from memory) for 1500pp. You need to be a moron to think this quest is worth the trouble. pure and total crap for the end reward for most any ranger in that level range. The only reason why I am ranting is because i have had the corroded in the bank for months now hinking why the heck did i even bother to raise thurg faction at all!
