Oops sorry all Ok easy to get. Get in a raid and go sit at loc +964, -2372, -162 the Panthers will walk right up to you. Just don't be invis and will aggro everything in the area. Giants can hit for 400's on 70 Monk so be careful. I hope this helps I got 8 Haze Panthers in about 2 hours but only 1 eye droped

After 2 days of camping I looted 2 eyes from about 20 kills - then decided to swing by WL a week later for a few min and 3 haze panthers were already on track - 2 dropped eyes and one dropped skin - Gotta love dumb luck :)

Not sure where the 2,000p price was obtained but being a tinker on Rodcet Nife, I have NEVER (And I do mean NEVER) seen an eye listed for less that 5,000p in the bazaar. I'll admit my tinker is not a melee class and needs to buy them but man oh man... they cost an arm and leg.
I'll be keeping my drops when I get to be able to fight these critters to make the vanishing devices and then turning around to make the Clockwork Armor for my guildies and friends that need it.

My advise is make friends with a Druid or Ranger, and patrol WL, primarily east of teh tower. Invis is your friend, use it often to avoid lots of unwelcome company. have friend keep succor up just in case, there are a couple mobs here that can be nasty adds. Kill all black panthers ( around 2k hp) and you will spawn Haze Panthers ( 3500 hp or so) eventually. Haze panthers are very magic resistant and resist root often, although fire and cold seem to land just fine. The eyes are much more common than the skins, although neither of them drop very often. I can get about ohh, 6 eyes in a couple hour span in this way. Great way to make friends with your local tinker, by passing them on with a wink.

haze panther eyes are rare and are used in the gnome ivu device to my knowledge.

And when you say it like that and slap a 2,000 pp price tag on it then I guess its no wonder why us "gnome tinkers" have such outragious prices
