this quest requires you to be Ally with the Kromzek, and at least aminable with the kromrif
Bah, just checked out the quest... thats alot of work! Maybe not worth it.
2 extra cha is ok but its that 55mana does it for me. But im not certan on what type of faction I will need... I guess i'll find out aye? Perhaps charm will help. Perhaps it will get me killed. I'll let you know when i find out. ;-p
Can the enchanters that have done this quest tell me what faction they were when they did it? Does indifferent work? do you have to be amiable? how much help will alliance be for you?
Like a lot of people I want to keep my dragon faction, but this is an awesome earring. I have a 49 enchanter on Sol Ro. I have decided one ear should be reserved for cha and one for int. So the more cha I can get on one ear the better for me :) So this is an awesome earring.
However, I want to keep my dragon faction.
So my question is this:
Has anyone tried to do this quest with charms or something else that didn't hurt their faction, or require you to have good giant faction? Is there a method for doing this, for enchanters at least, without hurting your dragon faction?
Also, I have not started my dragon faction yet, is it recommended that I do this before I do start? I don't know a whole lot about that at the moment, I'm not even sure what my faction currently is, probably glare threateningly or scowl. I am agnostic and a high elf if that helps anyone answer the question.

Just kill the velious Coldain Dwarfs. Will raise both Dragon and Giant faction.
I could be mistaken about all of this, but I think that killing dwarves raises frost giant faction and for this quest you need the following faction "King Tormax, Kromrif, Kromzek" which you can obtain by hurting veeshan faction and killing dragons. =)

These earrings are great since i found a way to max out int with very few slots. the way i did it someone with 80 base int can get 201int. so i could use all the mana and saves in my freed up slots.

Actually i would love one of these, my charisma has always stunk 60 base, currently 64. and the MR always helps.

Warriors always get the shaft, as this would be a great addition to any warriors attire! Charisma effects how fast you move and how far you can thrust your weapon into the enemy. The extra mana would be good in those situations that you need to escape from danger since mana also effects your ability to run at the first sign of danger.

this item is for a Necromancer, Wizard, Magician, or an enchanter. All four can benefit
greatly from the +mana and +MR, and to an extent
the charisma. Seeing that this item is nodrop, whether or not this should be for an enchanter seems pretty moot. Go mez yourself.

Boy, your a little touchy, it doesn't scream anything, it's a quest reward not a drop, it screams the name of whoever goes thru the motions to finish it.
