I got this ring for 4500pp in baz though it would be fun to play with and then I got another for 3750pp lvl 1 83% so I'm going to work on one and keep the other. Guild member told me you get alot of argo with it. But I'm a necro that loves to kite plus the +3 rengeration kicks butt. This ring is the funniest thing I ever owned in EQ and great if you solo and need a quick laught.

I dont know how many kills but i bought it at 23% lev 1 and nows its 26% gaind 3% from killing around 50mobs in SSRA in a group of 3 to 4 at times hope this helps

This is a random drop from zone I believe. My invis dropped right by port in and I aggroed a handful of basilisks in the water and this ring dropped off the 2nd one. Is a sarcastic lil bugger. I didnt know it was going to talk until someone in group died and was like wth was that? lol. Wish the end result was a tad higher though.

, I've got it to 7% on first level, dropped off the werewolves think it was a Ravenger in Undershore. All I did was activate it and it takes exp straight off the top of any kills that I get when I'm grouped. Worn it all over the place and it gets exp but very slow.
I played around a bit cause my chanter's wearing it ( yes I am trying to impress someone when I crit nuke over 2500 Oizyn
) I've been doing straight AA's cause I have less then 100, it did evolve with doing straight AA's, switched to all reg exp and it didn't evolve any faster, switched to 50/50 AA's and didn't evolve faster either.
Word of warning if anyone is going to Sky and wears it... take it off if the Lunatic is up for you to hand whatever in and get your key to the next island cause owww do not want to risk it saying anything in /say and getting your behind kicked

I have noticed in some cases mobs do not like me when it's talking saying I'm tashing asking if I'm trying to impress someone, but that could be cause they don't like tash anyway

Alright, spent a lot of time killing in Veksar and Chardok B, did not leave 0%. Went to Corathus, in about an hour of killing got it to 3%.

Hmmmm. I spent 5 hours in Veksar today and it went from 7% to 11%. I was doing the Chef, Brother, Slavemaster and Crusader camps. You must of been killing light blues or not enough mobs.

This is probably one of the Intelligent items that requires XP from certain types of mobs to gain levels. It's not going up killing from old-world zones i'll tell you that.

I love this ring, I'm a cleric and only wear it for the taunting it does. When it says something I press my bound button to follow with Oizyn is not Impressed!

this ring is a trip, I only have it at 2% now on lvl 1 but I am trying to keep track of how many kills it takes to get it to the next percentage so that I can let others know.

We submitted this to Lucy database way back when DoD started out.. It was a random drop off Werewolves in Undershore near the Stoneroot Forest I think its called.. This thing talks in normal say and seems to praise the wearer about how great they are. So far with it being activated it is sitting at 5%. Quiet a cute toy

Might I ask what you did to get it to progress, even to the 5% you mentioned in your thread.

Well really all we did was activate it (the tab on your inventory screen for evolving items) and just wore it in groups all the time.. My theory is that it will only grow in group situations when mobs are being whopped. I am not sure however if it will grow when soloing, though I am sure it should. The key is simply to wear it and keep on wearing it. Btw My Gf's Enchanter (L67) wears it all the time for the fun value..

I think what you have to do is go into your inventory under the "evolving items" category and put experience towards the item. Just like using your AAs/leadership..etc. This is all hearsay though because I don't have one of those items so it's just and educated guess.

Very neat but my ring is showing no progression and it is activated.
Drop info is in Corthus Creep off of the Undead in middle of the zone.
And it wont show you the part three if you put an aug on the item. So maybe wait to do so until its grown up.
