Looks like a leather cap on my Wood Elf, but with different color scheme. Body of the cap is sort of steel grey with what looks like green lizard skin on it in places.

It has the standard "bone" horned looked on Iksar.
I am 95% sure this item has a leather look to it.

I don't know about most of you but as a chanter I carry two sets of gear with me wearever I go.
One is my AC suit for hunting, hooking me up with 711AC without this item. The other set is resist gear that lets me feel comfortable in ToV with average of 150 on Fire/Cold/Magic without my friendly Druid or Bard help. Poisen/Disease well I have a few things that are nice and work great.

Many have argued this circlet is better than king Tranix crown as it gives more ac and overall more resistances. Since its all/all and a weight of .6 its truly something good for any class. IF a Tranix Crown goes for around 20k then this is worth about 25k. 5k is way out of wack for this item.
Yes this is much better then the Tirex crown, Which currently is going for 10k+. Never seen one sold, but probablly 20k by my hardened EC eyes.
Dunno what server you're on, but on Aro this goes for 5k. Tranix goes for about the same.

I turned in a Golden Tablet of Draconian Strategies to get this. Is the reward random or do you always get the same thing if you turn in the same quest scroll or tablet?

Now this is a good item, im not saying it isnt. But, to get this item u have to kill a lvl 50+ mob or do a quest that requires what is thought to be drops from DN. For my money and time i would rather have a CFK. 6 less ac but 11 more FR and 20 more CR. MR is important but 9 isnt so much compared to 20 CR on CFK. Just my 2 cp.

Only one problem... 99% of the people able to get this item are gonna be way past L52. Good for Talendor, I guess... It's not no drop, but it is very rare whether you kill the mob or do the quest, so you will not see this item for sale much.
This dropped on a guild raid, and while many were past 52, a couple were below that, and even as low as me at 45. (I badly wanted tihs but lost the roll! Even without the saves, 18ac on such a light item would be nice for a monk.) Not saying you can solo this huy below 52, but if you're on a guild raid this guy isn't out of your league below 52, assuming you have good support.

There are dragonkin also at Temple of Veeshan and many other places. Like for example WW. This is nice resists if You dont have specific resist gear per type. And in many places mobs use more than 1 type of attacks. It's a welcome plus for everyone under 150 - 200 resists.

Hehe, that's the same way on Vallon. Dorfs are owned by the lights and Giants are owned by the Darks. Oddly enough, the Dragons are befriended by the cross-teamers. It all worked out pretty nicely.
Just to let you know, you get the Circlet by killing the prophet, but you can also get it by completing one of his quests, apparently.

Why do people feel the need to insult others on here? Maybe it would not be the absolute best for a Nagafen raid, but why call the guy an idiot. Seriously, I am not trying to flame you, but at least this guy put forth an effort to try and help people. And what's up with not leaving a name?
Anyway, this item would go for some good money to a monk. 18 ac is much better than a Tranix crown, and it has MR which the Froglok King crown does not have. Very nice item.
