Yes, it's quite nice now to be able to bash majik stuff with it.

I picked one up in ec for 200p recently. It has some obvious down-sides, though. First off, it isn't magic. Not too big a deal, bash usually doesn't help too much in fights anyways. My biggest problem with it: WEAK GRAPHIC! It looks like a round shield! How lame! I mean it's a decent shield, the least they could do is give it a neat image! Oh well, it's a useful piece of equipment. Remember to unequip it before you sell.

I just bought this from someone VERY in need of cash and in a rush...I laughed with joy until I noticed...No-magic. Then I started crying...ah well. Not THAT many critters need magic really...is there?

Eh, well...Lower Guk needs em. But, when i use Slam, its my shoulders that require magic...so i dont know if the shield needs to be magic or not. If so, you could always just replace it with a magic shield to bash when you need to...might take down your hit points a bit, but that doesnt really matter that much. Theres better shields that are easier to acquire anyway.

Well, dont fight any willowisps (hehe) or ghouls as you need magic to hit them. Just bring with you a Mistmoore Shield or Darkwood Shield with you if you find magic-needing monsters.

I did even better..I went to Thurgadin and waited til someone was killing guards..then just looted one of the Velium shields they were leaving to rot. Poof! Nice shield to carry around incase I need magic..only weighs 0.5!

Can anyone tell me the level of this zone and something about their experiences there? This sheild does look nice, though it seems all of this crust armor is designed to make one quite unnatractive...:P

its like lvl 50 and up. you have to get through skyshrine to get here the first time and that is about a 40+ zone in itself =P

From what I can tell, there is no quest. You kill Othmirs to get it.
yep i get em all the time while i farm crusty armor,sellem for 100pp or givem to noobs,go to te beach find a camp with a group and sit for about 10 min.
