There is NO good Monk/beast Stuff thats is high AC.
Monks are Made as a leather Class and aren't meant to TANK.
All the really good Monk Stuff is ALL/ALL or All melees are something along those lines.
Thats why all Plane, Thurg and other monk only stuff is Low AC!!!!!!
Thats why most monks with cash are wearing bracelet of xxxxxx, Hardened Grey Fresh Sleeves, PSC's, barbed dragonscale boots, Froggy Crowns, and so on. And not wearing Shiverhide or Thurg, or the others.

People did stop moaning. Your post is the first reply to this thread in 6+ months.
Besides, monks are the most commonly played class now. There are more people playing them, thus more people to complain. Most monks don't moan and groan though.
If they do, I just ignore them and move along =)

you know you dont always have to get peices for ac stats hp or saves some people do role play and also like the look its jst like real life... sometimes you just wanna look good. or at least different

I know the ac sucks compared to other head pieces but the sta would b enice on raids and such when I will be swinging a peacebringer for long periods of time, otherwise I would agree it is kinda lame.

Wow, this is exactly like the vlious armor headpiece only instead giving 9 sta instead of 9 str. *sigh* hard to get, and when you do the only thing you can say is WOW! ITs..... blue.

I just have to reiterate... this thing really sucks. Executioner's hoods are better than this PoS.
No, it's not. This has a couple more ac, and has STA and saves, which is better than the STR and DEX given by exe hood.

This stuff is like Shiverback in fear, every thing out side of it is better heh. Personaly I would keep a Crown of King tranix or Crown of froglok kings over this.
Verant does know that Monks can get lightweight 12ac+ crowns from Lguk and Solb right?

are you forgetting the planes are much more difficult than any Antonican zones, so should have better loot on ALL levels? it is already much harder to get ANY loot from a plane, seeing as it drops so rarely, and the mobs are much tougher as well. I agree that alot of armor being found for many of the classes in tougher zones really, well, is underpar. I wish Verant would at least follow its OWN logic more often. Risk vs Reward clearly isn't being demonstated here.

crown of the froglok kings is 12 ac and i think 12 fire and cold resist..... but i think the main point of this it to just have the otehr resists as well..
