Equiped with a Tolapumj's Robe, a Walrus tooth, and enough haste to hit my cap, I've done over 130 pure melee dmg in Lower Guk against a blue conning mob as a lvl 45 enchanter. Now, my piercing skill is only at 96 (110 cap for enchanters), so I might be able to do more once I reach my cap. However, Im using a weapon that I got at lvl 15, so getting an upgrade will help as well. Casters dmg will never be "sick" compared to a melees, and we can always outdamage ourselves with spells by at least 3x dmg or more using our spells. But it is interesting to see how much a caster can do with melee.

Please add RANGE slot for this item, it goes in Range weapon slot.

only lvl 45 hanging out with some 60's in kael trying to hurt the giants near the arena all the tanks looked at it yelled who wants it for like 10 mins luckly didnt yell stats i ran over picked it up,very happy with this just hope i dont target somtin and hit range attack= P

We got one off an Adjundant in the arena part of kael... I have fought there ALOT and have only seen 1 dropped... good luck getting one.

Get a caster with this and Tolupmj (sp?) robe. Sick i tell ya. Imagine a vary serious twinked necro with this... hah, wait... that gives me an idea :D

At least it goes in the range slot, but gee thanks Verant, not like this is a slap in the face or anything. Might as well make it 9dmg/10 dly as it doesn't really matter since it's no drop. Hmmm I guess we need to keep our twinks at the zone in so we can CoTH them in thwarting you no drop label on this item :p

I'm glad its no drop. It prevents twinks all togethor. There's plenty of twinkable stuff out there for you to get your greedy little hands on. This is a good item. :P

I hope that more items like this turn up no drop. And the thing about the dmg/dly really is nice for casters because for raid mobs like spite golems in PoH casters melee along with the tanks to take the mob out asap, but usually the casters can only do minimal dmg. hehe in fact last time I was in Hate I was in a group with Asmodune and Validor from Insidious Blood, a wonderful guild that has an amazing leader in Bolak. Also for them to post it means this weapon may be tricky to get since 99% of them are 53+

I wonder if my Peircing skill will ever be of a level to even hit the Spite Golems even with this weapon. granted i do try to keep it up but being a nuker doesn't give much opourtunity. I am a wizard though so I do turn to the knife more often than my pet friendly counterparts may. ;-)

um, my piercing is maxed and if I'm lucky I'll hite a spite golem, or any mob over lvl 30 for that matter, mabye 1 in 10 times for full dmg (no bonus so whoopity doo 18 dmg) and maybe 2 out of 10 hit for 1 dmg. Just put it in range slot like you're supposed to :)
