I paid 800 for this weap about 10 lvls ago and now see them regularly in bazaar for 250- 400. I have been very happy with the dmg/ dly ratio and the bs damage (my max is about 293 so far). I find it sad that people think this weapon is worth so little. Such is life.

Ok, PC on the page is 2k. Someone says 5k. Someone else says 10k, but got his for 6k+seb boots. And this guy (and my recent bazaar searches) show that it's selling for <500p....

This weapon isn't all that bad, but if you had 10k to buy it, I would recommend buying a rabid chokidai fang. I got mine for 6k and sebilite scale boots. The stats are:

I really like it when im grouped or when I'm soloing with alacrity.
My max bs is 213 with it. Level 38, 166str, bs skill 150. I think I had a strength buff on, but with my usual 166 strength, i hit a 203. Now thats not bad for this level.
Anyway, the point is, if you have 10k (like some people say it is), I would recommend buying the rabid chokidai fang.

I was duo in DN with my 2box 60 Cleric and got this weapon off a dragon construct. I didnt think this weapon was that good, so I sold it for 1500pp on Bertoxx to a lucky rog. Guess that was a really good deal...lol

I'm sure there is a formula for it but if your wondering about back stabbing damage. At lv 13 with 180 str and 46 skill in BS it hits for 83. Makes casters look really bad. Sells cheap, I don't know a better twink rogue item out there if you don't mind playing a small race.

Saw one for sale in 9/01 for 10k on Bertoxx. Not saying thats a good deal.. but...
The trak tooth is selling 6k on avarage on Bert, and this is a better weapon for rogues with the same ratio - now this is limited to small races, so i would say its worth +25% or so more than a Trak tooths price at any given time. This puts the price at <= 8k at this time.
Not sure how common of a drop this is, so that will factor in as well. If this is the common of a heavy farmed item, it will drop quickly - the number of small raced rogues with extra funds is going to be limited.
As always, use commen sense - all items will drop in price over time.

I just picked this weapon up on the Luclin server for 9,000 plat today ( 4/20 ) and it is great. I dont know if 9k is the going rate, never seen it for sale. And the best part about it, Barbarians cant use it :)

PS There are weapons for ROGUES that have over 15 damage, my friend has 16dmg 27dly rogue only piercer, he got it from a GM event right after Kunark was added. And yes, it is real, and very nice.

Are any other barbarian rogues out there starting to feel shafted. First off we can't wear the assasins armor this sucked fairly bad, we also can't get into the rogue guild in Firona Vie without shrink. And now this. This has to be one of the best rogue weapons I have seen ever and once again Barbarians can't use it. I am starting to wonder why I ever choose a barbarian for my rogue.

I'm not a Barbarian, nor am I a rogue~ but as for why Barb rogue's are good, I have a little story to share:
I was bumming along with a group in Sol B the other day, and happened to see a group of 5 big guys (well, as a Dwarf, almost everyone is big to me, but these were barbarians)with four in these all black matching outfits, each with a big spear in one hand and dagger in the other. They just looked cool, so I stopped to look. The fifth barb (I did a /who and he was a shammie) was wearing some chain looking stuff and was off to the side. The four of them had surrounded this mob, and it was wild! The guys behind him kept slamming and stunning him, then one of them would backstab, and the mob would spin around. As soon as the mob spun, his back was to one or two others, and they would start slamming and backstabbing. I've never seen a red mob go down that fast before. It was incredible!
THAT is why you are a Barbarian Rogue~ I'm guessing. Slam and Backstab, with a high str and stam character. Just my little 2cp :)

I am still wondering why they even alow barbarians to be rogues? They are big, clumbersome and not even in the stealthy descreption. /sigh
Pirates. Barbarian Rogues I believe were meant to represent something like the norseman raiders of our history. As such Barbarians had three class, and the Rogue class was allowed because it was an alternative to the warrior that would be prsent amoung sea going raiders.
BTW this is just my theory on why Barbarians were allowed Rogues, and has nothing to do with anything Verant has ever said about them.

agreed verant dropped the ball when designing a rogue... strength being one of their primary stats when all of us who played the legendary d&d know that it was a moot stat except for enc.... the two most suggested rogues races are dwarf and barbarian... hmmmm dont rem. using either race back when

Yes i agree... barbarians do not fit the description of stealth.... Something about a 6 foot tall wall of meat sneaking up behind me doesnt sound right.... but eh? i like the marauder idea...
