Actually this effect is clicked on by the player. It can only be cast on the wearer of the slippers. Just hope this causes less confusion over how the effect is used. I just got my Silver Moon arms last night.....one more piece to a complete set.....the Silver Moon Chest Wraps. Wish me luck ;)
Is firefist the same spell that druids get to buff their attack (like Grim Aura for necros)? If so then congrats Monks! And that would stack with the Shrunken Gobbo earring effect (of Grim Aura) so even nicer!
Correct, it won't stack with grim aura. Both raise atk, Firefist by 14, grim is either 13 or 14 now, was upped a while ago.
However, when they changed rules for stacking, one of the trades off made was that firefist/grim aura won't stack with monk epic song, where it had in the past.

You could also theoretically have a MAGIC-BASED haste spell cast on you(quickness, alacrity, celerity, yada yada yada); however, you won't get much benefit because the fists and sash will put you over the supposed maximum allowable haste. Anyway, please try to be more informed about a subject in the future before you make an *** out of yourself trying to flame somebody. Thank you, my work is done here.
There are only two types of haste now: item and spell. (Opposed to a long time ago when there were the three that you mentioned) They combined spell and song haste into one. Besides who would want a PoS GSoT? At that level you should be able to get a Cloak of Crystalline Waters, or a Cloak of Piety.
By the way, in a *DUEL* monks own warriors. In a tanking situation against a mob warriors own monks, especially at level 60.
Not everyone is able to get 36+ percent haste items, even at 60. Depends on some luck (whether it be getting it from raid or other loots to buy), or having a guild strong enough to help you and others get it.
Besides, I'd take a GSOT, since it's got 40/41 percent haste now. Plus would free up back slot for something better.
Hello....dumbasses..this isn't about haste. Firefist is not a haste. It's a druid atk buff spell. It has nothing at all to do with haste. Why everytime I look at ANY post having to do with monks to do i have to read a mother ******* argument about haste?!?! /em hates idiots.
dang.. with all the nice stuff coming out of the POG..my monk will be raiding this plane as soon as he's able Wertakk Nekkard 31st level Iksar monk Brell
