Scars of Velious
Solo'ed Glati tap tanking. L70 nec, 200ish AA and Ele/OoW/VT geared with full OoW buffs although they get dispelled during. Hardest hits were 375 or 325 I think. Hit fast but with only lightning reflexes 4 and mitigation 1 it was easy, I buff to 7.5k hps and 6300 mana and ended the fight with 1k mana left. Dropped the greater dragon head for the axe that procs the ice focus quest in Kael, i forget the name - and Glati's Talisman.

We killed Glati and this didnt dop. INstead it dropped a giant mystical Dragon head, used for the cloak of the maelstrom quest. I figure this could be his rare drop?

Various named dragons in WW drop these talismans, each one having a different name with slightly different stats, i believe they run 4 to all stats to as high 9 to all stats.

Ok, so there's around 7 talismans like this found, maybe there's some grand quest to combine them or somethign similar to that?

I was betting on something like a "Talisman of the Dragon Slayer"...
Which would have +8 on stats & saves, +40 mana, +40 hps.
Which would end up royally pissing-off anyone who did the quest as they would have had to:
1) Kill a large number of Velious Dragons, which takes having lots of friends.
2) Either convinced all those friends to let him loot the talismans or won the roll on every talisman.
3) Find the quest-giver and pray he had good faction with them!
Over-all, a very Verant thing to do.
Which would have +8 on stats & saves, +40 mana, +40 hps.

Actualy from what I heard it is a key quest in the dragon necropolis. Also heard the quest is broken atm.

-This is not a quest for Sleepers tomb, just a mere neck piece.

I thought the talisman required for that were 1st Brood?
yes, you need first brood for sleepers. The first brood is Yelinak, Sonatak, Klandicar, Zlandicar, and LTK. Technically there may be more, but these drop the talismans for the sleepers key.
