actually i like to come and read threads of people ******* because its funny and like now it is also funny to read people who hate the whining so for me its a win/win situation lol

You know, people read these posts so they can get a better idea about where these items drop, what drops them, what effects they have, etc...
I'm pretty sure people do NOT read these boards to get your opinions about who should get them, how much they should be sold for, or to hear your class whine that 'Yes, this is a MY CLASS only item. No OTHER CLASS should be allowed to roll on it.'
If you're in a group or raid that gets one of these items, the people running or organizing the raid would most likely divide the loot in an organized and logical manner. Unless you are in a position to get one of these items, nobody wants to hear you ***** about who should get what.
So, quit yer ********* you anonymous cowards. We're sick of it.

Ok so the rest of the threads seem to be about praising its usefulness and arguably its a very nice item, so what I'd like to know is where's it from?

ok...if I ***** my faction with skyshrine getting this can I get it back up?
Guardians in Skyshrine. I believe they have a chance to drop any piece of Guardian armor as uncommon, and very rarely the Guardian Robe.

Actually, large race Shadow Knights without PoS gear are still wearing Crested Spaulders... I am at least, have not located anything better...

At the level you can aquire such an item as that, Strength and Dexterity will be the only stats that will still matter to you. Clerics worry about widsom and mana, Paladins about the same, Shadowknights probably have something better.

I tend to disagree here, I, as a Paladin (50th Level) subscribe to the AC is King theory. At my level almost nothing is done without a group, and it is rare to see a Paladin be the Healer for a party. Therefore I tend to maintain a front line tank status. Paladins make great Paramedics and are wonderful for post battle damage clean-up. If A Paladin wishes to spend that much time healing and buffing it might have been better for them to play a Cleric. The Str is also nice , it ups the amount of damage one can deal, Here again the front line tank aspect comes into play. ANY class can benifit from additional HP's and additional Saves Vs Magic. The SK's that I know tend to be a little more Front line'ish too, but let them speak for their class.

The fact thats its no drop makes this Item a really good item to obtain on Any PVP server as well. Some (not all) of these guardain items are even better then planes cleric gear. Plus this stuff just looks damn cool.

1 of 2 shoulder pieces with Dex and Str on them (that I know of, but I don't have equip lists mem'd) :P, the other being Burnyai which only have 4ac.
