The graphic of this sword looks just like the pic in the corner of the item box above. Very thin and kinda wimpy. If it looked cooler I'd have kept it, resold for 275pp & made a small 25pp profit.

OK have to post this as none of the Gleed Dragonhunter killers ever posted this.
We went to go kill Gleed and had a 3 group raid force that was there to do Plate cycle since KD was uncamped except for us at the time we desided to go kill Gleed and grab his bow - It was no problem getting thru to him at all. Killed all the easy giants on the way without a hicup and cleared a few by the see invis line.
Walked the shelf with the dogs on the right side drop off and then killed the 3 blue guards in the way and the undercon green guard jus in front of Gleed. When we pulled Dragonhunter - sure enough we weren't able to split him and his dog - no problem - we had 3 full groups 2 mobs = no problem.
THEN about 1 minute into the fight EVERY DOG from that island rushed us. I mean they WERE WAY WAY WAY out of our aggro area. I mean it was as if getting off of Orc lift in Gfay aggroed the orcs from Orc hill down to Kelethin. That is how far we were from the dogs. regardless - 4 to 5 dogs showed up from no where and wiped us out - only one group got off an evac.
The bottom line is either:
- someone trained us: didn't happen - I happened to be meleeing facing the archway and saw all of the dogs arrive and start smoking folks -sitters first. I saw no rogue element leading them and they are hardly from a main pathway.
- there is a relation ship between his dogs and that pack of dogs in that kennel island thing.
- this could be a new scripted event (doubtful) - but it is surprising NO ONE reported this before.
If you have never killed him before be carefull here. It might behoove your force to wipe the dogs out on your way to prevent the surprise we received.

Just killed him the other day and he dropped Flamesong. He dog tagged along but no other dogs did.
Im not quite sure, but in the Bow Quest he mentions that he trains the dogs, perhaps it is an event that he calls the dogs that he "trained" to his aid. dont trust me tho, just a thought that i had

Scrolled down looking for the answer to that same question, been stated it procs at level 45.
Not bad weapon. 75dd proc, gets resisted at times. Ok ratio. Got a Velium Swiftblade with it. Ok look. Id rather use my Wyrmslayer. Or once I hit lvl 50 VSB with the steel hilt flint dagger 5 28 625dd proc. I wonder how the VSB would work with our epic swiftwind?

I got one of these the other day off of Gleed, by tho Nobles area in Kael, Gleed also drops Bow of the Huntsman... nice bow..
I paired this weapon up with my Velium Swiftblade. Very nice look and absolutely devastating in combat.....

As you walk past the bank, you can go right to the arena and left through a few arches to where this guy pops. We usually take 3 groups 54-60 up here and the guy is pretty easy. the mobs around him also drop quest armor for thurd. Its a great spot to camp with a solid party.

carry this with a frostbringer... and omg...
both weapons are fairly fast, and hit very hard... mix this w/ call of sky, and you wind up getting proc's near constantly... if it isn't a 35dd proc plus knockback, it'll be a 60dd w/ an ac debuff... or a 75dd proc... my gawd, they dropped some nice stuff in kael. and yes, other melee classes would benefit just as well from these two weapons

if you proc as much as you think you will ,you'll be king of rezzes. waaaay to much aggro that way for us rangers. and no ,jolt is not gonna safe your butt when a big nasty giant is whacking you.

Someone said that they had the Axe of Ironback and this in the secondary slot. Is that possable or when you get duel weld or was this person haveing a computer fart and it alowed him to do this? I always though you could just only have two one-handed slashing weapon when you duel weld.

gleed spawns up the ramp towards king tormax in the area where the wolves are. he is lvl 56 and has a 56 wolf with him. took him down tonight with 2 grps of 50+ but dog was killing us off as we did so. would suggest 3 grps 50+ or 2 grps 55+ to take him and the dog.
