This sword can be equipped by Berzerkers now. I know because I twinked mine with it. Needs to be updated.

just picked this up, erudite shadowknight conned yellow to me (27 paladin), my partner (25 shaman) and i took him out no problem. Just watch for adds, or stay close to zone and you should be fine, i still prefer my BABS though, about 15 more dmage per hit and only 2 more delay.
regardsless, its a good 2HS weapon for anyone 25 and under.

This is a great, inexpensive weapon for the two-hand slashers out there. The subject line is as it is since there are 2 damage caps to overcome(10,20). Below level 10, it is a good wep, but once the damage cap raises to 30ish, the delay on this weapon makes it a very viable option. Most 2hs weapons that do "max damage" until 20 have a much higher damage value, and accordingly greater delay. Once in the low 20's, when the damage cap starts to waver, there are diminishing returns on the benefit of delay. However, in a pinch, this weapon probably would be OK until around level 30.
In conclusion, if you can use 2hs, and can get this weapon, it is very well worth the price.

Is it possible to bash with this weapon? I think I heard something about being able to bash with a epic pally weapon (The Defender I think), which may mean that any 2hander with ac can be used to bash. I know it sounds off the wall, but if you can bash with this thing, then its a damn good paladin 2hander. Its worth checking at the very least.
Yes - you can bash with it if you are an ogre or troll sk or warrior. Small races cant bash with a 2HS - except for Innoruuks's Curse - epic weapon. Any SK can bash with that one.

That would be great, but I have one and I can't bash with it equipped. Of course, that would be just too good to be true.

Both the pally and SK epic are 2hs and yes you are able to bash with both of them.
pally = Fiery Defender
SK = Innoruk's Curse
But also if you are a pally or SK 59+ you have an AA possibility called 2h bash. YOu have to train it and blah blah blah. But if you do get that ability you will be able to bash with ANY 2hs that has a ratio. But otherwise you cant bash with any other 2hs...

I traded an Axe of the Ironback and 200pp fer it. I thought it was worth it. It VERY nice to me and im lvl 30.... doin 45 dmg without a crit. i did my highest crit of 235 a few nights ago... it was a cripplin blow but still very nice weapon.

Just got this in Dalnir's last night...thought eh I'll try it out. Swaped out my Edge of Cabilis and loaded this sucker in.
Same damage (to within 2%) of the edge and much faster plus an extra 5 AC...add in my taunts and stuns and I was able to keep mobs on me constantly and off everyone else.
If the price is only 200pp it's not worth me selling so I'll hang on to it. Although I suspect like most items they sell for a bit more than the prices posted on the web.

What level of the crypt does this drop off? I want one of these. They sound great since i hardly have ne money to buy a better weapon.

It drops off the Coerced. (got mine off a iksar). THey are on all lvls but most proniment on lvl 1.

34 may be "horrible" per hit damage, but the delay also comes into play. 36 delay is VERY quick for a 2hander at level 30. 16/36 is a GREAT ratio and provides sufficient damage. PLUS, the quick delay allows a main taunter to taunt well...the +5AC is pretty nice as well.
I remember a time when this blade would have been considered the uber-dream-weapon for a level 30 warrior...

From what he is saying, he only has a strength of 84 on his SK, which is pretty low. 34 points of damage for that str. is not bad at all.
I had this sword for a good long time, and it served me quite well. If you don't want someone to twink you out (which seems to be the fashion of the day), this sword is fine.

I have been using this weapon since about 3rd level (it's a hand-me-down). The sword has a pretty good balance of attack and delay (if you break it down, if it was one handed, it would be 8/18), and the big bonus is that the weapon gives you 5 extra AC. For my main toon, which is an Iksar that cannot wear plate, this is phenomenal. With the current lvl (20) and str (84) of my SK, I can do a max of 34 points of dmg. Add double attack to it, and whatever damage done by DoT's and pet, that equals some pretty good damage. This sword will probably keep me for a while until I get it's equivalent from Kaesora (the name escapes me right now, but it does the same damage, but has a delay of 34, and an AC of 10! WooT!). So I will gladly wield the TG Blade until about Lvl 30.
