Well do with it what you want, but what ever you dont listen to anyone who says to give it to sir lucan!!! He will gladly accept it and you are out a sword...I can only imagine that this is something that they will change eventually, why else would you have stats if it "show only" ?

Spoke to a GM about this sword the other day and it seems they take the line that it is "for show" only,
if thats the case why give it stats, and even cermonial swords can be dangerous

I turned it in to the leader of the paladin guild in Felwithe on accident and he said... get this: This is obviously a sword!" well no **** sherlock... anyway, didn't get the standard don't know what to do but thanks thing so maybe someone knows what to do?

Damn it i have 1 of these and i dont know about it for the life of me if some one find the quest for it plz send me a E-Mail
if its primary only sword shouldnt it have dmg and dly as well im not seeing it what good is a primary only sword for tanks that doesnt attack

This is abbreviation for the Plane of Mischief. I have one of these and would like to turn in to get the stats to wield it. Weddings use only is a damn shame for this blade! Someone step up and tell us some info on it. As far as Sir Lucan goes, Until I get a yes I'm not gonna try him, would like a faction of character to him if successful as well please. With the stats on this blade when non wieldable, it seems to me that it has to be some kinda quest based item. I'll be waitin patiently and trying to figure out for myself til someone else comes up with the answer.

try turning it into Sir Lucan in freeport...i hear if you turn it in to him you get the sword with the stats...just a suggestion though, tell me how it turns out...

I have also heard that if you give this to Sir Lucan in Freeport, he will give you a sword back with the exact same looks and stats, but it will have a dmg/delay ration of 15/32. I don't know if this is correct, but I might give mine to him to find out. Please let me know if anyone finds out if this is true or untrue.

I have been waiting for 2 months to hear anything on this item. I have heard a few rumors about a Quest to obtain Dmg/Dly on this item. Should I fand out more I will post. If anyone knows more Please e-mail me at Dariusking524@aol.com

OK , I have read throug all these postings and no one has yet come across any reason why this item has no dmagae or delay modifier? I have read today on the eq site that it will have a 10 dmg 30 delay, in some future patch, but that is still just hear say. If verant is going to put a weapon like this in the game , the least they could do is post some clue as to what it is for.The guy that traded it to me said the GM told him it was a glitch, but he could have been lying( its happened )Anyone find anything on this sword please write me Darian2000@aol.com ( The harliqiun Erollisi Marr Server )

No, I had one of these and it was PRIMARY only. Listed right on the item (as with the newest patch that show where all items equip).

I would guess the quest comes fromthe PoG as I've seen screens of Tunare weilding an sword that looks exacyly like this one.

I got this from a GM, the sword is for a quest that will add the damage and dely, it is not just for looks. The Gm would not tell me anything about the quest, just that it resualts in the dam/dely.I will try to find the quest.

The Gnolls... There are Gnolls out side there, one is a blacksmith, and is asking for things... Look there first... Just a thought... But I'd be willing to bet my ceremonial sword that this is one of the things he wants/needs... Considering they are a common drop off an mob in his mid 20s if that...

This weapon isn't 2hs..It's 1hor will be if Verant gives it a Skill / Dmg / Dly.. Right now it's just an Item to look at and Drool over with yer friends. Tried attacking a mob with it in a GM's presence and nothing happened...The Gm did not stop the mob from acting naturally either. The Lack of a Skill / Damage or Delay on the weapon has been noted to the powers that be.....next patch/nerf should be interesting

I asked a G.M. why this sword had no att stats and he told me that the sword had purposes not yet known to all must be for a quest i imagine.

Anyone try to put this in the ranged slot? Cant wait to see what it looks like equiped...hehe. (RP)Also might make a nice idea for player weddings :)

I have one of these swords and it is definately 1H (but I wont say its a slash weapon because you cannot attack with it). I know this because I can equip it when I am using my Charred Guardian shield. Though I only equip it when I am selling because I like the way it looks on my Paladin. Very nice looking weapon indeed!

Heh, i'm not sure if this sword has no damage/delay due to the roleplaying aspect of a 'ceremonial' weapon, but i can tell you it LOOKS fantastic!!! Couple this with one of those incredible Velium Round Shields off the Thurgadin Dwarves and you're stylin' for any ceremony!

yeah style peeps, styles. I use this and one of those crystal sheild, plus a full set of ry'gorr to go at any mariage ceremony. I mean the rygorr looks white on an iksar and whit the ceremonial sword and sheild i look like im im a paly of mithaniel not a shaman of cazic-thul nothing better to celebrate love tho im not suposed to like it.

No...then it would be the CCWNS (Ceremonial Condom Wedding Night Sword) and I aggree with below, +200 STA, -100 INT, and maybe even +50 CHA. I know the bride would like it to have +200 AGI (insert evil grin here)

As soon as i got it i puted on for size than right after i puted on a gloem Ushor attacked me then with reposit i hit the Ushor back twice with dmgs 10 and 14!
