It used to be that woodelf couldnt wear it but it was changed because so many of them whined. As far as rangers and monks wearing plate. I dont know about monks but Rangers have always been able to wear MAGIC plate.

I'd just like to know if the fact that its lore means you really CAN wear only one, or whether it actually comes as a set of two....info, anyone?

I just did the quest a second time, totally pleased with myself for managing to get two Hero bracers (upping my strength by 10 in all over my previous bracers) only to find that when i handed in the shackles.....it vanished! LORE- only one at a time ( Guess i learned the hard way...
If you want to do the quest again- ensure you sell the 1st- or end up with just some healthy exp- all i had to show for a 5 hour long second attempt...

Lore is your only allowed to have one in your inventory (including bank).. Since this is not a class specific bracer, its lore.. Ivy bracer Ranger only is just magic.. not lore and not no drop.. I suspect other class specific quest armor will be the same.. to allow you to wear 2 of them..

I have a question if a dwarf can only wear small armor, i have a full set of crafted armor and my bracers and breastplate are large? hmmmm i was thinkin the same thing

Crafted is commonly a GENERIC item.. The Small is an option for small races with less weight, not that they can only wear small items. There are plenty of items that all races can use (Planar armor for example..). :P

word small or medium or large or very large just means what container it fits in thats all it dosent pertain to the race sizes.

Actually its that they'r all the same item (small just weighs less) they didnt have2 make it small its just a way of puting certain items according to size. The actual way everything works is usable races/classes i never told this much, so i hope it means something.

they can wear small OR medium, just like barbs can wear medium & large...so it fits races that can wear Meduim

You dwarves would be able to wear it if maybe you weren't so short & pudgy.

If you'd notice, NONE of the small races can wear it.
Aka, Halfling, Dwarf, or Gnome.
Also, neither can Trolls or Ogres... must be forearms that are too large. =)

This bracer should not be lore and all races should be aloud to wear it. Its too good an item to limit the races. Only classes should be limited. Seriously, what does a cleric or a shammy need this for anyways, it would be a waste for them to have.

Clerics need it (esp High Elven) because of their poor strength. This is a great str item.

some small races need it too, i am a halfling warrior with a base str of only 90 and with my items its 98, armor is heavy. All i have to do to be enc. is loot 1 fine steal weapon and +10 str would be great.

Dude, it is race limited because it is Medium size armor. Races that can only wear small or large can't use it. Guess size does matter. =)

Just like rangers have all leather armor till higher levels when they actually get a couple of peices of plate.

Hm, think he meant druids have all leather till higher levels.....
