Recharging prayers finally nerfed, late 2006

Well recharging of this was finally nerfed a few months ago, for those of you who said couldnt recharge for the last few yrs, u missed a lot of 2-5k hp worth of heals for 1200pp buyback per prayer ^_^. These now show up in different slots in the vendor window. Too bad too, Wish I had used my 2 golem wands more. Took me a while to get~

Since Reinvisioning on May 11th, it seems the effect have changed. This used to be a 400hp group heal, but now it looks closer to 708hp group heal. If so, it's value is going to increase a lot.

Can anyone confirm this?

Why do they say this is located in Shadow Haven? Also, have heard this item is NOT rechargeable any longer. Bummer, huh?

I only have one "prayers of life" - I used the charges last night. How do I recharge?

Do I give to a vendor and buy back?

Do I use a mana battery?

Anyone recharged one of these?

Selling a fully charged one to a vendor, followed by your 'n' used ones. Then subsequently buying them all back from the vendor and they will all be fully charged. (Obviously you need to sell to a vendor that has space to list the items for resale...)

While this works, it'll probably cost you an arm and a leg to get the items back off the vendor...

It isn't that it's a bad item, it saved me from a horrid cr when our cleric went LD once, it's just crappy for a dragon drop.

Word of Healing is a cleric area effect heal spell, dunno the exact number of hp healed though.

it's not an area effect spell it is a Group spell where all members of the group must be within casting range of the cleric, so only group members are healed
