Dropped off of Frostfoot 7/18
Dropped for me off a Frostflake high shaman in the Northwest corner.
I think that doing this quest makes the raid mob grel strongboom spawn and wander the zone. there is no reward for this quest.
Also drops off of Frostblind, a named dervish

The places you need to visit start at the ring of stones in the NE corner. from there, head clockwise. I did it in aobut an hour, as another poster, counting the few battles I had to fight whien invis dropped. As p[osted, no rewards, although could it be a flag for subsequent quests? or is it broken, like so many more?
one note:after completing the quest, some days later I got another symbol to drop. was able to loot it, but as I watched, it faded away from my inventory. apparently I have it bound to me. =could be an indication that this is a preflag for another quest.

Interesting, I'm what would have happened if I looted one in The Ascent then. There has to be more to it somewhere.

Add Viridix to the list of mobs that drop this.
I looted and immediately got a pop-up window asking if I wanted to do a task. I said yes. All it did was lead me to the spires and the dragon statues and finally to the Stillmoon temple entrance.
No XP, no Coin, nothing. It simply seemed to be a "tour" task with some game lore.

Looted one of these off a drake cleric near zone in to Thundercrest. Got a task that involved runing around broodlands visiting various places. It was called Journey of Yar'Lir. No reward. As stated in a previous post it looks like this is an enabling task for another quest of some sort.The final message I got after completing the task suggested that there is more ti find out about Yar'Lir.

Looted 2 symbol then it will pop a window ask if you want to do a quest(you can find it from alt+Q)
