Dragons of NorrathJust camped this sword on the new Mayong server.
60 Warrior, 63 Shaman plus tank merc and healer merc.
Both mobs that are listed as being able to drop this weapon spawn close together up in the north part of Lavaspinners near Stonemaws room.
Boilingwind spawns from the drake ph in the room just south of Stonemaws room, Smoketail spawns in the dead end room just to the south.
Set up camp just around the corner from the southern room and you can pull both placeholders. There is a drake that spawns in camp but these days Lavaspinners is pretty trivial so nothing to be concerned about.
Be aware the room to the south of the camp where Smoketail spawns has about 6 mobs in it, when pulling at 60 I got 4 or 5 at a time.
Camp only took about 2 hours including clearing to it, got 2 ph for Boilingwind then it spawned twice in a row, first time got the cloak, 2nd time was the sword.
Smoketail spawned just after the 2nd boilingwind, dropped another cloak.

Like Sword of the Bloodsworn, but wider, & it has a red jewel in the hilt instead of green.

Is the worn effect onproc right or should it be (combat) not (worn)?

Aye the effect is supposed to be Combat, not Worn, Alla's just has it wrong atm. Worn would be fun though--equip this sword, never move again!

Me would probably guess in LavaStorm, seeing the item lore and it being from the DoN era. This is nothing more than a guess, ask around see what you can find out, then post it back here for the rest of us who are to la to take my advice =) /jk

drops off of smoketail in lavaspinners lair.
