Rough Patch of Goblin Skin  

 

Did a tracking the kirin mission, and seems to be only about three accessible goblins in that one (I was solo in the zone) and I got three of them after two instances of killing three gobbies then getting a new mission. A couple of days later, did an animated statue plan mission, group levels were 63-70, and got nine more to drop, and we weren't even trying to kill all the gobbies. Kirin mission did not repop, the Statue mission did. So, get a group together, get an animated statue plans mission, and farm the full 6 hours, you should have 80 skins after about two or three six hour sessions easy. Dunno if they fixed a drop rate or not, the first time I tried the Statue Plans mission with a full group was 26 Jan 07.

Oh, and it DID UPDATE the Memories of Stillmoon quest for looting the Rough Patch of Goblin Skin.

I'm doing this for Human cultural. *sighs* The task is called Ripples in Stillmoon. The 120 kills of the minions work in the normal zone. But I was seeing no skins. So I asked a friend. We went through several of the instanced versions of both Stillmoon and anywhere the skins might drop. Gimblax being one of the missions tried. I just went through and any mission that ran in Stillmoon I tried. None of the skins I looted counted for the task. Anyone heard anything on these lately?

i have looted about 60 of these and have got credit for about 15 and SOE says there is nothing wrong with this, that no one else has petition this ask other if they r having problems getting credit..

during a mission i was looting them and got credit for like 6 then looted another 10-15 and no credit in same mission..


if anyone else has had the same problem will u plz post it so i can tell SOE to quit passing the peace pipe so much

I picked up 4 during an Emoush raid and I wasn't the only looter. Seems common there.

Tried hunting during this instanced raid.

no luck tho i got 64 kills towards my total during the raid. =)

What Don zone Goblin skins drop killed 120 Gobs in stillmoon noe one.

I too have been trying to get the drops. I've killed about 60 of the mobs needed for the kill part & havent had a single drop yet & 42 of them have been the gobbies. Buffeer if you would be so kind as to get loc or general area & mob that got 20 drops from i would so be indebted to you.
