Book Text:
The Vah Shir have unique needs when it comes to armor. There are many concerns, such as fur and tail, that are not issues for the armorers of other cultures. This book focuses on those needs by reprinting tales from Vah Shir, both famous and obscure, who have participated in extended
| battles. These stories are from all ages, with a few of them attributes to Kejekens long dead. There are notes, patterns and documentation carefully preserved by Vah Shir smiths and tailors from centuries past. These bits of information appear to be randomly ordered at first, but after several chapters
|
| you can see the value of every story in the order it is presented. They build, one upon the other, to show the evolution of armor among the Vah Shir. Eventually it leads to avenues yet unexplored, extrapolating the advancement of this armor to new levels.
| The patterns in this book can be copied many times, but eventually they will wear out and you can tell that if you use the patterns enough you will need to replace the book.
To create pattern for tailoring armor templates based on these patterns you will need this book, a
|
| large bottle of ink, a roll of plain parchment, a quill and a compacted backpack to hold the patterns you will make. You'll also need a book binding to do the work.
If you wish to use the patterns to make molds you'll need a kiln to work in as well as a high
| quality firing sheet, sculpting tools, a huge block of clay and a compacted backpack to hold the molds when you're done.
