The biggest surprise I discovered is that there is currently no augment slot available on this so you may not add any time of augment to this as of this date. Could (hopefully) be changed one day, especially with this years addition of the newbie melee augments.

Actually, they can't be newbie gear because it is a pet weapon... Class =none = pet weapon
Check the actual item before posting. The screenshot is outdated. I have about a half dozen of these on my daughter's low level alts. They are incredible low level twinking weapons.

... Actually as of now that i know of since one just dropped from the guards... its not a pet weapon its for melee classes only of course that can use 1hs since its a whip.

These are deffinately vendor trash, or newbie gear. No level restrictions and drop like crazy. We had five or more drop in one 4 hr sitting. And some morons are selling them for over 2k in the bazaar on CT.

These are nice looking whips, a good upgrade to the old graphic, though these are pretty much vendor trash. Think back in the day how much this nowadays vendor trash woulda gone for in EC... a few k to say the least
