Our guild has killed AMV seven times so far and no NBB. 3 vests, 4 pants, other misc stuff also.
4 kills no blades.
Course for some reason we've had 3 BPs drop and only 1 pants and the BP is supposed to be rare.

For tanking BBoB is better, but for DPS this

i have notched blade and rogue 2.0 in primary and the delay on the sword is really high..for high end weps, imo.... and since the rogue epic is 19 delay it basically makes this sword 37/19, since the delay of your offhand is based on the delay of your mainhand....why would ANY rogue be retarded and not use a dagger in primary...play a ranger if you want to use 2 1hs/1hb

Offhand weapons have their own delay check. 24 delay is what you're going to have with this in your offhand, offset only by various haste effects.

This dosen't sound right to me. The way it works to me is that the offhand weapon swings at it's posted rate, the difference is in the fact that only the primary weapon uses the dmg bonus. Would like to see the source of your information.

Victorian thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard. Why would you want to waste time by switching to a slasher in your main hand, even with the bandolier? As a rogue you bash backstab everytime it comes up and hope for those 2k+ crits. No sword or piece of wood can match that.

Only thing is...the only slashing aug that is +2 solid damage is tunat aug (lightning prism of swordplay). So as a ranger i use Aurora with prism and deepsky stone in main and currently hammer of rancourace thoughts in offhand. Tunat also drops a +2 solid damage aug for 1hb. So the best 1hb ...hammer of rancourace thoughts(or now the runic something or other from DoDH) with tunat 1hb aug is the best combo if your in a guild that is doing OMM. Of course this is just my opinion. The proc isnt really an issue at this stage in the game especially with nature viel. This slasher is way nice..but we lucky rangers get the best 1hs in the game (also my opinion) and there is sadly only 1 +2 damage aug around that i know of. So if your looking for the best combo...get oom hammer with a +2 damage aug ;p but of course AMV is so much easier than OMM ;p...and vish whip looks much cooler ;p
I am just wondering if a fellow Ranger has one, espically on the Luclin server.

I have this and Mace of Tortured Nightmares. But Im getting 2.0 tonight so I'll have it then and let you know.
It's not on Luclin, but on Antonius Bayle, but my guildie and fellow ranger Okxye got exactly this combo of Aurora in main and Notched Blade of Bloodletting in secondary.
But this sword mostly went to Bards and warriors because of the aggro proc and the high percussion mod. This Blade has been really rare for us btw, we've been killing Arch Magus Vangl every week since Jan 12th 05 and we just got six of them till now - 3 for bards, 2 for warriors, 1 for a ranger.

The DMG on this is pretty awesome, would be Great for Warriors Rangers or Bards, dont know about rogues though cause its 1 hand slashing.
I would use this in offhand coupled with 2.0 in main hand, as well another rogue in the guild does, and will prolly swith it with omm 1hb if I get the chance though.

As far as agro is concerned it shouldnt matter what weapons a rogue has, even in a group with an EP tank rogues should be able to control agro to the point that they dont get it till after tank and light tanks die.

Probably because you cannot backstab with a slashing weapon in primary =)
But as a ranger I would probably put this into secondary as well if I don't lose too much dps by that - Chaotic Strike IV in main hand with the higher proc rate may cause some unwanted attention quick.

Thank the heavens for a little thing called bandolier. Macro a bandolier set with a piercer in primary to your Backstab, and have another bandolier set with 2 better ratio weapons. Therefor, you can actually have a higher output of dps with this and some other weap than Entropy, which is sad to say, while the best piercer rogues can get, is the worst 2.0 when it comes to ratio, and both Allin's and this have a better ratio. Of course, the 2.0 has it's effects, so in the end it comes down to play style. Have a nice day.

Very interesting suggestion - personally I'm not too familiar with rogues, but how often can you backstab ? If it's more often than every 30 seconds, it might be too much hassle to use this feature - and if that rogue is anything like myself he will probably just forget to change weapons too often so it all evens out again =)
PS: Asked one of my guild mates and he said backstab is ready every 8 seconds ihrc... would you really want to swap your weapons every 8 seconds to get maximum dps ?

No a rogue MUST have a pircing weapon in primary for the fact backstaqb pops every 5 seconds and doing up to 5K a backstab and also hiting 200 a hit and hiting Fast give us haste adn watch us go
You can macro it all into one hotkey

/doability "# for backstab"
/bandolier activate "1hb/1hs set"
Thus it eliminates the hassle of manually switching sets. And since the bandloier activate is instant, you don't lose any real dps during the swich; the switches and BS happen in the same moment. If I had to swap weaps every 8 secs I don't think I'd bother switching myself.

Keep in mind also that the 8 seconds is without any haste. With haste it will be much much lower. While the bandolier option would work, it would be something I, personally, would only bother with for raid boss situations.

w/o haste bs takes 10 seconds to refresh, with haste its 6 seconds. don't forget, piercers have horrid ratio compared to all other weapons, a good rogue will know to get a solid offhander that is NOT a piercer. this has a great ratio, but the proc does cause attention. evade is great, but isn't perfect. i'd rather have a better proc then that, and give this to a warrior.
Everytime you hit bandolier and change weapons you interrupt your round of damage. That digs into any DPS increase you may theoretically get.
