Sucks that this shield was surpassed by that Tower Shield of Erendos.

The description at the top shows this as INFUSIBLE. The screenshot does not. I'm sure epics are NOT infusible.

SOE changed it years ago so that you cannot possess a 1.5 and a 2.0 Once you get the 2.0, you lose the 1.5

Does anyone know if you can do your 1.5 shield again after you get your 2.0?
since they are both clickie from inventory. This would be a powerful combination 2 epics and divine abitrate.

side note
the only real advantage that divine arbitration has over epics is the aggro/medding factor. If you are hurting for mana and trying to med up while your party has mob engaged.. DA will not change your rest state. so if not on aggro list DA will not put you on it or kill you out of down time rest status.

No you can't do this as other posters said.

And even if you could, both epic effects are on the same timer, so it would be pointless.

2.0 Walkthrough
# Jan 10 2007 at 8:19 PM Rating: Decent
Below is a link to a walkthrough I put together from several sources. I compiled info from many different sources including: Storm Spirits guild write-ups, Allakhazam posts and by my own experiences doing this quest. This may not be a perfect write-up, but there wasn't one write-up that combines everything into one source. It is my hope that this will help you along the path to your 2.0 without having to scour the internet too much.

How hard it this?

Is this really hard to get? I bet you have to be in a Raiding kind of guild to be able to get this? right?

The final drop comes from Citadel of Anguish, so... yes.

Not to mention that two of the other fights require a solid raid force.
Cleric 2.0 - MISC INFO
# May 19 2005 at 10:07 AM Rating: Decent
Finished Cleric 2.0 a few weeks ago, but haven't had the time to post some things about the walk through that I found here. These are the changes I submitted via email to the owner of Allakhazam.com.

Final Ragefire in Timorous Deep is a bit out of skew when compared to the other final 2.0 fights we have done for the guild. It's a lot harder and you truly *do* need a raid force.

1. Text on site: If you zone into Wall of Slaughter, the signet will begin to glow. Mobs will begin to aggro and, in the north part of the zone, a dark disciple will spawn (need exact name and fight info). Kill it to loot a Robe of Plasmatic Priesthood, which identifies as "This differs slightly from the last robe you saw." Bring it back to Cryssa.

Please change the line Kill it to loot a Robe of Plasmatic Priesthood. It should read "Kill it and loot a Dark Red Robe."

FYI - Dark Red Robe can drop off of any of the 'a dark disciple' mobs.

2. After killing a dark disciple you go to Omat Vastsea in Timorous Deep. You hand in the Dark Red Robe to him. When he returns it to you, it then becomes Robe of Plasmatic Priesthood .

Good luck to future clerics on this!

epic 2.0

Is the graphic the same as my 1.5?
And to answer the question above no, you can not have epic1.5 and epic2.0 at sametime. You turn your epic1.5 in and it gets upgraded to this. I guess if you were to redo the 1.5 you can have both.....
And to the person who asked about the CHR. I am maxxed on all my stats and resists (over max on some thanks to shamans) but still only have 240 CHR. It is just not a big deal past 200, specially for a cleric.
The FT and regen are nice. For some reason GoD and OOW armors does not have FT or regen on them. :( So I went from FT30 to FT 18 real fast. Though my regen is still nice sitting aorund 40/50
And lastly no can not be cast form inventory. To cast from inventory it must have a casting time of instant. Besides what cleric in thier right mind would not have this equiped?

"Noob" yourself.

Worn FT caps at 15. Period.

The Omens of War AA "Expansive Mind" raises that cap by 5 (to 20) when maxxed.

The Archetype AA "Mental Clarity" adds another 3 when maxxed.

So, by what he said, yes...FT *is* capped at 15 from worn items. You can raise the cap with AAs, and top it off by another 3, but w/o AAs you're stuck at 15.

(P.S. The new TSS AA "Labyrinthine Mind" increases the worn cap by another 5 points when maxxed, to 25. You can add another 5 points of mana regen by maxxing out another TSS AA, "Mental Serenity".)

So, if you have *no* worn mana regen, you can still regen +8 mana above and beyond what you'd normally get from medding, just with AAs. If, like most folk, you've got worn mana regen, you're held at +15/tick...unless you get the AAs that raise the cap, in which case you can increase mana regen'd from items to 16-25, depending on how many levels of those AAs you've purchased.

Of course, raising the cap on worn regen won't do you a darn bit of good if you don't have the worn mana regen there to take advantage of, in the first place.

Inncorrect, anything that doesn't say "Must equip" can be cast from inventory. Therefore, this can be cast from inventory.

As to: Who would not equip this?

The same was said of 1.0's... back when they were just called "epics". Time will tell.

With Divine Balance (Epic 2.0) ,Harmonic Balance (Epic 1.5), and Divine Arbitration (PoP AA) that's some kick *** free heals. That's assuming you get to keep both epics.

If you look at the click effect, both have a recast type 6, thus share the same recast timer... so you cant use them both like your saying, even if you get to keep it.

Not quite. The first thing it does is even out the damage between group members. So, for example, if the MT is at 20% health, and you click this, it would spread the damage out to the other members of the group, most likely giving everyone around 60-80% life, assuming all others were at 100%. Then it would heal 2000 pts damage per group member, which would probably top off most of the members, but not the MT if hes a 10k+ tank. Then it would remove 9 detrimental counters, such as disease, or curse.

The amazing part is the 0.8 cast time, this is practically a cleric LoH, when used in a full group. Only downside is 180 recast time, but honestly, thats pretty short, considering how powerful it is.

This really gives raid leaders a reason to make sure the MT group is filled up with clerics. Thats 5 last minute saves, when a CH gets interrupted.
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 06 2004 at 10:38 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) It is humorous to watch you complain about the FT in this item. If you just kill in RCOD, MPG, Rift and elemental zones in even a relatively poor guild your clerics should all be maxed in FT. Therefore it is not an issue. Geez louise if u dont know what u are talking about pls. stop posting.

Well, the 2.0 epics are for the Time/GoD/OOW riad equipped guilds. Most clerics in a guild like that would most likely have all their stats maxxed, before obtaining this.

Just a small point here , my dwarf cleric (lvl 62), can ,and will bash , as to the abouve point of regen 2 not bieng any use , i find i sped as much time in combat as i do healing if not more , and the regen for mana as well as health is a perfect balence ,
Maybee , just mayby the item was designed for clerics like mine , the ones who realize that wairing full late and been given a weapon that has a high proc rate makes for a wickkid suport melee class, i currently have FT8 and find in heavy hunts (with char's from lvl 62-67)that i have to med 1 in every 14,ish combats , This may not be how others see the role of the cleric , but all those i Assist say its the only way a cleric should be played ,
all i can say is im well looking forward to adding this little number to my clerics personal armoury.
Its regens are gimpy
# Dec 01 2004 at 6:33 PM Rating: Default
I think it might need 4 mana regen, and not have 2 hp regen. Clerics do take dmg, but the ones i'm with heal themselves out of being scared of being hit really hard. 2 mana regen, and 2 hp regen sucks for a item above time, it needs to be upgraded imo. And the up to 15 FT(old school mana regen name) needs to be up to pare with hp regen, or atleast in the 20s or even have a new time of mana regen that is only on time gear that will stack with normal mana regen
RE: Its regens are gimpy

By the time you get this your mana regen will be so far beyond maxed it wont even matter...

All I can say is.....having the ability to dva plus a instant 2k heal EVERY 3 minutes is absolutely awesome. Not just in exp groups, but also for raiding!

I find this shield to be very "epic" like. A little disappointed in the look , since it is not much different from 1.5 ( it has some blue sparkles that float around it) but otherwise very happy with it =)

Btw, you also get 10 aa for when you do the final turn in!

just remember 100 AC, 10-20 more than some other shields availible, stats are 5-10 better than some others, same goes for resists. 2 aug slots which means more effects, and some ok effects to go along with it, timeable heal being exceptional. This could disprove my thoughs on it, but please someone give me some serious remarks.

Heh...I think you may have just disproven yourself. This, IMO, is very Epic-like. I doubt you'll hear a single Cleric complain about this. LEt's say there's something almost comparable to this already in the game...it's still just ALMOST comparable. I've yet to see anything worth upgrading to FROM this for a Cleric.
RE: Could be better
# Nov 30 2004 at 11:57 PM Rating: Default
-- I guess I see the significance now, may be little in the way of upgrades, but then again we've reached a cap so far thing of the old world couldn't possible help. Still, something seems unsettling about the fact that the extra added stats on that won't quite help a cleric who's already reached maximum stat cap. Just really though, this is by no means like the upgrade clerics took in kunark to their epics.

Feel free to comment more anyone on what you might think about this and yeah I know I sound like something right out of a Disney movie, but you'll never be hurt by posting and as long as you have something usefull to say I'll vote you higher. Well yeah, and I'm tired so maybe it's the lack of sleep talking, normally I'm an ***. =D
RE: Could be better

Well lets see. I get at least 20 AC more, (AGI on top of that so maybe a few extra bonus AC), 100+ Raw HP, 100+ Raw Mana, And figure most time those that have this run with shammies that have the new spells to raise caps also. Effect (like 1.5) is a Div arb, but a bigger group heal by 500 HP (Still saving 2 AA casts) and by looks can be casted from inventory if I do happen to have a *BETTER* one, Decrease spell hate chance by 6%, 2 more mana and health regens. And can use Epic 1.0 at the same time still ?

Woot ~ Let me at least get my 1.5 finished up and then will assist my guild when we are ready to go for CoA.
