can anyone confirm if the undead renux drops this every time? can this be looted from her and given to smith dandi instead of killing culthor the gatekeeper for the embers in rogue 1.5 quest?

The Undead Renux does not drop this. This is ONLY from Culthor the Gatekeeper. If this also dropped from Renux 1.5, especially every time, then Culthor would have no place in this and us Rogue's wouldn't have to worry about killing him.
