36 Shadowed Man kills in Lesser Faydwer to see this drop.
I remain convinced the loot tables for the various quest items are just rare and random luck.

Do these drop anymore cuz I camped the shadowed men in WC for almost 3 hours today(10/12/03) and killed probally about 6 or 7 monks and this never droped.

Does anyone know if these drop specifically off the necro Shadowed Men? I've only camped them for an hour or less found the book and pratically every other weapon with very little necro spawns, so I was wondering if maybe it was only dropped by them. Any feedback would help.
I aquired mine off of one of the "monk" shadow men in West Commons (those are the ones with NO visible equipment.) I don't know if the necros drop them, but I killed a whole bunch of the necros in Lavastorm to no avail, whereas the monk dropped it on my second monk kill.

Sweet, I've been running the Harvester quest for a while and this little tidbit of information really help. Thanks Scholar :)
