cmon verant, i bought this sword for my pally at lvl 15 hoping to get something better looking than a blade of passage but i was very sadly dissapointed when i found out it looked no different than a rusty long/short sword (I still cant see the difference). it should look like the inventory pic if ya ask me.
i dont care what it looks like as long as it has decent damage/delay. so Verant screwed up the graphic, for god sakes DONT /report it or anything stupid, they might nerf it!
Bah who cares what it looks like really. Have you ever seen Babs (blackened alloy ******* sword) it looks like a rusty ******* sword..but the weapon hits hard and fast. Just think in a duel against another player you have a slight advantage over him..he thinks your carrying an average weapon til you hit him with it.. SUPRISE! You have an edge. Plus with the bonus's on this weapon its a nice touch, and for a 1hs its hits pretty hard just look at the ratio. Not too shabby. So dont take everything face value, looks are deceiving.

Actually, it does look slightly different than a normal shortsword. You'll notice that the pommel and blade are shaped differently.
But overall it is a bit disappointing. Still a fine weapon for a younger bladeswinger, though.

Heck yea, bought one today for my warrior...I have to switch to my harpoon of the depths when im in a crowded room to get noticed =) Wish it looked something like....oh i dont know, maybe the warrior epic...(The red one! =D)
Who cares what it looks like. If I were playing a small race, I'd use this ,even if it looked like a dead fish (which would acutally be really funny). Of course seening a small race carrying some of the big 2hb or 2hs weapons is funny too. Like a kid with one of those inflatable carnival toys! Frankly, I think the really cool graphics ought to be reserved for weapons you can't buy in EC for under 1k plat. Maybe just epics and hard to get no drops!
