This dropped for me off of "a Murkglider" near Dranik's scr zoneline, funny, im gld i won it, this is how it happened for me :D "/emote prays "Uunee prays." /rand 0 100, "Uunee rolls a 100 out of 100" YES! hehe

This droped for me in WoS from a Murkglider in the right wall caves from NC ent. but I lost roll for it. boo hoo
from a dragorn, forget what kind though...was pulling the 3 near wos zone, one in a side tunnel leading to a few researchers and then the two farther out past the npc at the first archway almost accross from the named murk...schoolleader
I had this drop for me while soloing at the Ridgerunner Drunt camp in NC while waiting for my friends to show up to the camp. Pretty lucky drop. Killed the Ridgerunner's PH, then pulled the agressive murk PH (to start getting them clear before the group showed up) and it dropped from the murkglider stalker. I sold it for 200k on Zeb the next day with no problem.

This item dropped for my group in Wall of Slaughter, i believe it dropped off an elite ukun, forget last part of its name, but it was a normal mob.

Dropped off a swooping bat in Dranik Hollow instanced zone. 69 Enchanter got the expedition so trash mobs were 66. Hit for about 700 max and until slowed hit very fast.

With a high jewelcraft skill, this item can be turned into a mana regen 4 item. Additionally, with a grand master smith and alchemist (or poison maker), it can be given a level V effect, such as extended affliction V or whatever the one that wizards covet the most regarding nuke enhancement.
Even when completely upgraded, the item will remain tradeable until someone equips it. The item then is "attuned" to that person and it becomes no drop.
The components to upgrade the item all the way aren't cheap. I believe that all told it costs around 10k for one attempt, making the new tradeskill aa's worth the cost if you're planning on doing this.

Augs like Tourmaline, Titanite, Sphalerite, Citrine, Apatite, Howlite & Celestine do not use Slugworms they use Trean Flies (Treanic Acid) as part of the 'minor effect" combine. All the others like Fireflow, Starflow, etc use the slugworms. Also was prob a mis-type but the tourmaline cannot be upgraded to a Mana regen 4; Mana regen 3 is the max you can go with this, it being radiant cut. You can pick up trean flies for a couple hundred plat nowadays, but people still tend to pay 35k+ for the slugworms.

The combines to try to have a shaman or rogue upgrade augs is probably running almost up to 100k a combine, both slugworms and discodant scoriae been going for 50k each. Personally, i hope to find some of these well hunting somewhere since I don't have the pp to buy them and have 4 augs sitting in bank waiting =/
*Those are just the messed up prices on my server though, pretty sure Brell has had a screwed up economy for a while now.

how would you upgrade this with tradeskills? What items and combine in what?

Why does this say "ATTUNEABLE"?

Attunable means it is not no drop till it becomes equiped. When it is equiped, it becomes Unattunable.
