okay.. why would anyone want this? .. can cast lots of buffs with cool effects.. guess if your bored /yawn.

I did this quest the day it was introduced great quest I got to see alot of zones I never saw before since I was not around during original EQ period.
Created Dwitherpot May 2002 and got this. He's only level 54 and 4 aa's.

what if they are based on level of character, not time of account or character creation?
just an idea, i don't know how to reconcile the inconsistencies.
both me and my ranger were created the same month and year, may 2000, but my druid was transferred to a new account that i started in 2002. we both got the same staff. now, it could be based on level, both are over 50, or it could be based on character birthdate.
but really, who cares. i'll probably end up doing it for my 65 shammy, who is a kitty and luclin era, my 58 necro who is less than a year old, and my 35 cleric who is less than a month old, just for kicks.

Solusek sparkler is the Ro effect version.
My FV rogue can now duel wield the Solusek sparkler (that she quested) with the Miragul rocket (that my alt quested from my other account). One more reason to love my server, woot!

This is a great quest, I saw zones like Mistmoore where I never sawe before since I started in may of 2002.

This was alot of fun. Went with a group of guildies, almost all 65,..lol..and jus laid waste to awesome old school zones, like Sol A, Guk, Paw, and Mistmoore. I think this sparkler is a more common one. Three of us wound up with that one . Lots of fun tho :)

The staff you get is according to when your character was made. If you were made in the PoP era, I assume this is the staff you get.
Nagafen = 1999 = Old World
Trakanon = 2000 = Kunark
Tormax = 2001 = Velious
Ro = 2002 = PoP
Miragul = 2003 = LDoN
This is my best guess so far. Five years, five staves. I'll update if needed.

there seems to be no pattern at all to it.... my wizard, created in 2001 got solusek, my froggie cleric was created the day LoY came out and he also got solusek. AND they are on different accounts, both created the same day as the chars.....

I quested the staff for one character on each account.
One account was created during PoP, and had a character that was created in 1999 on it. The other account was created during 1999, and the character was created during 2000.
Both characters received the same staff.

I just noticed the difference in lore on the items. this one is for the young adventurer. This also happens to be the one I got.
65 Ranger of Tunare with 60aa's.
Is the staff you get dependent on your level and aa's? or a date on the character? My character was created in March of 2002.

Date of character. My bard, started in 1999, got Nagafen Fire. Very cool effect, I shoot 3 of all colors up and a blue ring expands from my head. Fun little trinket, re-lived some good times in those zones as well :)
