Speaking from personal experience as a druid, a fairly large percentage of wis casters that are in a position to obtain this have had wis maxxed for a long time. Granted, the int bonus is silly, but at least it does increase a number on my character sheet, and isn't any less useful to me than adding to my already maxxed wis.
