Perfect Garnet of Constitution, at least the one in my bank slot, is restricted to Slot 7.

There are two versions of this item.
Rarity and Why to look for them.

Ok I have done over 60 LDoN's in various camps (did 5 today in NRO) and have yet to see one of these drop. I would have to agree with the drop rate of very rare. And If you are wearing full LDoN armor (ie Royal Attendant Breastplate of Sand) you can put 2 of these along with a 40HP Aug that is bought in NRO for 1150 AP in the BP. Add these to the HP already on the BP and that gives you 164 HP. Now that makes for a nice piece of armor that will carry you far into GoD.
Why 12?

Why are these items considered so good? The augmentations that give HP and Mana suck in my opinion. You can buy a type 2 augmentation that gives 10 mana for 200 points in Mistmoore I think. Was this a goof up?? Mana and HP are not worth nearly that much. This is the max augmentation you can find for HP, so maybe if it gave 70 or 80 HP it could possibly be worth it, but honestly this isn't worth the solvent you'll need to buy to take it out later.

I havn't been hit for as low as 12 damage since I used to level up in East Commonlands.

Any bonus is good BUT, and the major BUT, does not justify the price on Firiona Vie. THe server there has No Drop stripped, and people are trying to sell these for several thousand platinum. In this case of +12 bonus, 20 to 50 K. Explain please...

The higher HP ones dont fit into the usally available type 7 slot.

For me, 12hp is 12hp .. and its quite good.

This isn't really that bad if you consider that many tanks have their stamina maxxed. This fits in every single slot you have. If you happen to be geared well enough that ALL your stats are maxxed, you could put these in every slot, and have obout 250hp gained.

If might not seem great, for your particular circumstances, but I'll bet there are quite a few warriors (and other melees, as well as necros and shamen) sporting these already.

I got one of these with a group of min-level 57 last night. Our highest was 60.

It dropped from a common mob in "The Rujarkian Hills: Bloodied Quarries". I (59 NEC) was given the go-ahead to loot it, and put it on my Dreamweaver's Pantaloons later that night. Not a lot of HP, but always useful for a necro!

Followup: when I say required level, I meant to say "level to attain" as in the level at which you'll get an adventure where this can drop (which is more important for LDON than it is for other expansions).

I did not mean to imply that this has a required level on it.
