Lost Dungeons of Norrathas somebody stated below, this item is exceptionally cheap on xev selling from 20 to 100 with about 8-10 available almost all the time.
however it should be noted that this item hit for approximately 40 at level 20 and right now it hits for max of 66 at level 37 despite showing only as 12/22 due to recommended level. I am a gnome shadowknight with 100 strength and I find the damage output fairly good, I can essentially solo a mob in adventure in under 40 seconds(not actually solo, but similar since the enchanter and cleric I group with do not contribue much to damage if any)

Posted: Nov 19 2003 at 10:30 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) xev is uber on pricing. u can get any 1 handed or 2handed wep for a paly/sk thats like rec level of 50+ for so cheap. this for example. see them for 10-100pp. or Defenders lightblade 10-80pp.... also mace of lost crusades(or sumthing like that) like 50pp. *PLUS* theres nice peoplpe that give u stuff ( a harmonium gave me a massive dragonclaw and Sarnak battle sheild on my paly).......

The reason this item hit for so much was due to a bud with the reccomended level on weapons.
Before the March 10th, 2004 patch, when you'd use a weapon with a reccomended level, the weapon would hit for full damage, the only thing that was effected damage delay wise was the display of the number for damage.
granted there are still damage caps, where whatever weapon you use is capped at a certian point, i believe its 10dam (levels 1-10) 14dam (levels 11-20) and i'm not sure if there is a damagecap post 20, but it seemed somewhere around 30dam untill around level 30. The last figure mentioned is really if'ie

Picked this up in the bazaar today for 100plat, yeah that is correct, 100, not 1000 not 10000... There were 4 others all under 1k..

This dropped off of a 'Ravaged Ancient Holgresh' in an Everfrost Peaks adventure last night. Wasn't to hard to take down other than him Complete Healing himself.
Edit - Was in the Hushed Banquet dungeon also.

Got off named mob, level 65 adventure in zone listed above. I have seen two drop. MOB varies.
