Heya all this is also the result of a quest in Butcherblock was just sitting there on my 36 Ranger when I heard a halfling female ask if anyone would help her I put up tracking and went to her, and said I can help you. She then started talking about she needed her shovel back from a Mudd monster that stole it while she was digging. I went through all the story and told her to show me where this monster was. She led me a little ways past the Wayfarer's camp and sure enough a huge mud monster was there holding a shovel no doubt was spawned by the halfling, looked just like a Mage Earth pet hehe. Anyway I tried to root it was immune so went to attacking he hit Really weak like 10 - 15 at most with 850 ac BUT he had an insane DS like 35 - 50 or so I finally killed him and he dropped this cloak, a neck item 7 ac, 10 fr no big and the shovel. When I handed the shovel back to her she gave me 150p and a Ruby which sells for 120p in shops So I was very happy about this. FYI with 1400 hp he took me to 2% before I killed him this is Only because I stopped attacking and healed myself a bit. Dunno if this is a triggered event but I will say it was really cool =)

Someone sold this on Tribunal for 1K. I wanted it, but someone else beat me to it. :( Is 1K a reasonable price -- that is to say, might I expect to see this price in future? I've only ever seen this one, so I'm not sure if that's a normal price. (After this one sold, someone /ooced that they wanted to sell one for 20K, which just shocked me...I hope that was too high.)

Guano Harvester is a semi-rare spawn...I've seen him twice in a couple dozen visits, and got the 'Guano Harvester casting message' a couple other times. He immediately invis's himself, and almost always spawns in the 2nd bat room (take a right from Bat 1) after you go underneath the rock chomper.
He goes down in about 4 hits, and I've only seen him drop the 100% weight reduc bag. Unlike some people have rumored, he drops loot no matter what lvl you are, you don't have to get a lvl 24 or lower to kill him. That's absurd.

Well I finnaly won a roll and got this baby right here last night. I was 43 at the time and the cloak replaced my fine plate cloak I had. I'm happy.

Just did it an hour ago, he spawned, we had a 24 druid come in and cleared a path. We brought him down to an empty circle room and rooted him. She nuked him til he died. He was light blue to her at 24, so level is more like 17 tops. He dropped the bag.
Moral, on FV if you see him, clear a path and get a 24 or lower to come in for him or he won't drop you a thing.

pretty unneccessary. the bag is not magical and drops on FV. Happened yesterday.
And TLC DOE work. it makes thing so much of a hassle, that you need to be REAL high, in order to make it work. the its usually not worth the effort

A Very good reason trival loot issuses don't work.
I am thinking this cloak will be extremely rare on the FV server. Guano harvester will be green to anyone hunting the bat caves in SolB, so with the TLC it wont drop if they kill him.

just to second Nyshraak's comment. dex is a great stat to have points in, for a ranger that is. of course this is for the people that play rangers as a ranger, the stat mods are more important than AC (ac is not always god) i wear the 6 str/dex rings for that reason instead of the 6ac 65hp ones. the dex on this cloak is great and the only cloak i would wear instead of this one is a tigeraptor cloak (more stat mods). that's excluding dragon drops, like the CoF, but i really don't need to say that, it's common sense

You, my friend, are not a very smart monk... Dex determines how many times your weapons proc (which is good, since a lot of the higher end monk staves have effects) and how fast your battle skills go up... I dunno about you, but *I* sure don't wanna be caught in a Sodomite zone with an FD skill of 10...

Did it occur to you that perhaps, it's _not_ worth 15k? Just cause something is marked with a price here doesn't mean that's what people will really pay. Ask around, you may find the price has dropped and you're asking 5k more than anyone would consider paying. Or you may be at the correct price. But finding nobody willing to buy it would give me a hint I may be asking too much.

Absolutely right. Also, if you click the "Pricing Info" link next to each item's price, you can see who's decided to "adjust" the prices based on their opinion. Look at the amounts and dates of each, you'll get a fell for the correct price.

I got this cloak yesterday (June 27)... it was really weird. I was just sitting around the bugs group, just sorta waiting for someone to leave so I could get into the group, when I heard a weird sound... and it was the guano harvester making those goblin sounds it makes. It was just standing there in the hallway, while the group was fighting. Naturally, I got up and nuked the bad-boy. Dropped this cloak... didn't have to roll, since I killed him by myself, but I was actually hoping for the bag.. =( Oh well.

This cloak is really cool, I just got it a couple days ago on the Torvonnilous server. Won a roll on it and didn't know what it was till my group told me about it. Nice stats but people seem reluctant to buy it. The only ones that seem to be interested are the people who cant even come close to affording it. Ah well. If anyone is interested in buying it from me or trading, im looking for paw of opolla and/or GEB's + pp or some variation thereof.

Found Guano while doing Bugs/Bats in Sol B, (for the 2nd time), killed him and won the roll on this cloak. Avg price on Mor-Thu was last quoted 12-15k pp. Wearing it now, fantastic cloak. Don't think I wanna sell this now. Date of acquisition; May 18th, 2001.

Guano Harvester is a RANDOM spawn and he's invisible when he pops. So unless you have track it's hard to get this guy. He also drops some kinda weight reducing bag not a very good one tho.

actually.. its a wonderful bag.. 100% weight reduction.. you just can't beat it :)
100% WR is great, only problem is that the bag only holds small items. It's great for a chanter who wants to carry stacks and stacks of metal for jewelcraft tho. Why they call it a "large" soiled bag it beyond me. Very deceptive.

Well, my monk or my warrior would LOVE this cloak. Because of the fact that it weighs nothing, and the great DEX it has on it. I gotta get this asap so they can hit more often.
