Well after buying and selling gear in the bazaar (FV server) for 4 months, I was able to make enought pp to deck myself out and then buy This sweet little baby! (Like Icing on the cake. Cost me 200k but well worth it! The average price I have seen them on my server is about 250 to 300k, so I got a decent deal I believe. It Proc's very often, I have had it proc three times in short battles. (Dex maxed at 255 self buffed). Good Luck to anyone who is trying to get these, they are well worth it!

I have a hella time trying to get people to camp this with me. The experience suxs. We POPed to names in 2 hours, the steed and spider queen. Droped range and belt. We camped just south of the ZI up on the hill.

So far I have had 4 pets proc and were going all at once. That is my personal record so far. I have seen them hit for as much as 91 points. This is the best proc I have seen, or have heard of. No reason to whine about this one. THIS PROC ROCKS!!! (prays for no nerf)

Well from what I have read, some people say they get these on their first drop. That is not what has been happening with me at all. I have easily seen 20+ named mobs come and go and not 1 bst weapon has dropped. At least our guild has alot of FT3 belts and ranged items now =(

Dropped off the obsidian spider in a pick up grp in PoF that just happened to have a BL in it. He was happy. Guildie BL on wasn't flagged for Fire, and wept.

Killed it with just a tank, BST, necro and druid healing. Was right near the little hut at the zone in, single pulled by the druid from the field. BL slow landed, tank never went below 70% health, and the druid had no problem. Resisted Neurio, but everything else landed, Funeral Pyre excepted.

Ive parsed myself and other Bsts with this weapon many times. The Proc is considered a pet on EQ companion and it does between 30 and 60 dps to elemental mobs.

An elemental geared Blord with AA's in the right areas can do 150 to 200dps with epic in offhand.

bst: melee, spell, dot = 90-110dps
warder: arag, rellic = 40-70dps
Platinium proc pet: average 20dps per mob per proc x 3 = 60dps.

The proc can hit for 94 but the average hit is 53 and about 18 hits per mob before it fades. I have proced about 4 at once before. 10seconds each.

I usally do about 100dps alone but if I crit nuke a couple 1350dds with SCF3 during the fight I can get up there on the dps.

I got a tell last night. Some BST asking me if i was flagged for Plane of Fire. Sadly i wasn't. If i would be i've got this weapon. The BST already had it and was in a xp group.

Then you can get this weapon with a regular xp group that's really cool. And it seems to be a non-rare drop.

Where are these mni nameds found? Are they all right there at Zin in the first field or are some deeper in around the castle area?

Lurash I find it hard to believe you won these and didn't use them right away or you would have posted what you thought about them and your name or title.
I've had these for a while now and are wicked dps for the gimp 1 group mob they drop off of.
The proc itself summons 1 to 3 pairs of bst epic claws at a time double attacking for about 94+ points of dmg they also bash. They last about 8 seconds thats a guess never actually timed it.
