I did a ton of LDoN clears from all the themes hoping to see this drop. In the end I got this one from an undead monk mob in Veksar, in the room with what looks like bleachers. I believe the mob was "a grand master". Knowing what I know now in hindsight, I would just stay in Veksar and train the zone over and over till you see this drop. I got at least five of my runes from Veksar and overall it was much less time than running LDoNs repeatedly.

An ukun deathfang dropped 1 rune of synergy in Tipt instance on August 17th 2009 app. at 1:07 PM EST :P
The Rune of Synergy has been nerfed from the game. I found out the hard way after multiple zones,mobs and just under 100 hours of trying to get this. Only way I could successfully get this rune, was to /petition in game support, and they checked and verified my attempts to get it. It was placed in my inventory by a GM.

Are you saying we have to make an effort to get something that doesn't exist before they'll give it to us?

Not saying try like I have, and then do a /petition and then you'll get it like I did....just saying that after countless hours of camping for this rune, a SOE GM verified my attempts to get it, and then "placed" it in my char's inventory. So, IMHO....that is saying one of two things:

- Either SOE has nerfed this rune from dropping in-game (or)
- The drop rate is greater than 1 out of 100+ mobs...
....which would make this rune Ultra-Rare.

If you want to waste your time farming for this rune, (like I have), then go for it....just trying to give a heads-up on rarity of this rune.
(Another note, also **yet to get Rune of Coruscation**, the NO DROP one, out of 16+ kills of Jaeil the Wretched, 15+ kills of Sambata Tribal Advisor, nor from 10+ kills of Cohort mobs in Sanctu - only "dusted runes".....and it is still listed as common drop. Common drops equal @ 1 of 2-5 kills, more or less....15+ and no drop...would = minimum of Uncommon - Rare).
May or may not be nerfed, but don't think you'll farm all of these droppable runes, in any less than 100 RL hours! Perhaps you can get lucky and buy them in /baz or find one on a vendor somewhere.
But if you go camp / farm them, plan on buying a case of snickers bars to supplement your time...!

The rune of coruscation drops in high risk LDON Mistmore. Just got 2 to drop in one adventure.
if anyone gets this rune.....please make a post of what zone and mob drops this. It'd be nice to get this for my wiz pre-1.5....but have actually reverted to vendor-diving, in hopes i'll get lucky finding one,lol.
ok Druids can not do research so who can research their spells and does anyone know what the trivials for particular spells are?

www.eqtraders.com recently revamped their spell research section and it lists some, but not all of the trivs for priest spells. just click recipies->spell research to get a listing of what items you need, and trivs for your spells
All int casters can research certain wis caster spells. The spell range is level 50-60 for the pure wis casters (hybrids have cross linked spells which are different levels for them, so I won't go into it). The spells that can be researched are mob dropped only (to the best of my knowledge) and are not quest obtained spells, vendor sold, or ancient spells. I don't play any wis casters, so my knowledge comes from that of a wizard, with 200 +5percent research skill. Btw - Most of the high end research stuff, ie for level 60 rare spells, comes from pretty advanced places, like named in Ssra, VT trash mobs, etc. I am not sure of the stuff that drops from tier2+ PoP zones, so some stuff may drop from there too.
The Rune of Synergy is also used to research the druid spell Improved Superior Camo, along with the right side of Yaeth's Compendium p61.
