hmm 200+ peircing 190 2hb 1hb 3 ><

I only use voice of the berzerker when I want to max my stats. At 65, I dont melee anything but greens I dont feel like wasting a bane of nife on. This is just another time sink, people just dont realize it.
/sigh

Is it me or does the placeholder rate seem really really high. I got 39 placeholders in a row. Yes I kept track. Any secrets to get him to spawn? So far after 2 12 hr camps nothing but 2 spawns and 2 gloves :\ I'm about to give up lol

If your a cleric reading this, read this carefully.

this charm will not give you full effect, until SoE fixes the requirement of this charm.Clerics CANNOT master H2H,our cap is 75,not 100.100 is the point that you become a master. There is no degree in difficulty,or time consuming or even a ***** about this charm from me,cept the fact that i only get the stats from two mastered skills,1hb/2hb.

Please,bug/feedback this problem, this charm is too nice to be left to craptastic uselessness.

Unsure as to how your 1hb is capped at 178 when the hard cap is 175...

No, makril. To "master" means to get your weapon skills as high as possible. It looks like you have not maxed your 1HB and 2HB skills yet -- so don't complain about this charm being broken until you have.

I'm pretty sure you need 101 to get Master rating, but I'm under the impression that they just mean capping out all your weapon skills.

Just my take, I don't have one of these charms and so cannot test anything.

don't know what you're complaining about, my cleric max H2H before level 45. same with 1hb and 2hb. and this was before clerics were given melee crap (she also had 202 bind wound >.<) now if only i could get this =)

Raise weapons skill by dueling with pet casters
# Mar 11 2003 at 10:12 AM Rating: Decent
I'm surprised no one has suggested dueling with a pet caster to raise weapon skills. That's how I got defense maxxed out on my druid. While you can't raise your skills by dueling another person, you CAN raise them by dueling a pet. So if you have a friend who is a pet caster, give it a try. :) It may take awhile though. My friend and I worked on it while we were at a boring camp to pass time away.

This is actually one of the better charms I have seen, but unfortunatly int casters can't use it. I really wish SOE made the same charm with int instead of wis and gave it to us int casters. Hehe, it would actually make me feel better that I spent forever and a day maxing out my melee skills, except throwing and h2h, which I am working on atm. And yes, I am **** retentive enough to want to have all stats on my main maxed, and am working on it tediously. Even my beg is close to max now at 150. Sigh, why oh why do I even bother?

Everyone has H2H weapons. They are called you Hands, hence the "H" in H2H. Just empty your primary slot and start swinging at stuff.

found this posting in a message board:

Dropped off named in Torg Mines.
I think the name was The Broken Skull Seer. (Shaman I believe)

Basically it increases as the player's weapon skills increase.

Seer spawned as the middle mob in a 3 mob spawn room. There is also one wanderer that will come up the the edge of the corridor that leads to the room (no door).
Aggro range is VERY low.

I am a bit fuzzy on directions but I will try to give them from Nadox Zone-in.

From Nadox Zone-in:
1) Head down corridor and go through fake wall.
2) Go straight and open door. (static guard behind door)
3) Follow passage left and then follow it until you hit a "T" intersection. (wandering guard along this hall)
4) Take the "T" to the right, be careful, if you continue ahead straight to the wall you will fall down a trap into a water area below. So you need to take the left just before you get to the next "T" at the end of the hall, and that will wrap around and lead you to the other side.
5) I think if you follow this 2nd "T" to the right it will hit an elbow that turns to the left. As it does so, you will see an open doorway straight ahead, and one to the right.
6) Follow the doorway to the right and it will take you down and to the left.
7) you will enter a big room with exits on all sides and 4 static mobs in it. (also 1-2 wanderers pass through here)
8) Take the left corridor. It will then turn to the right and empty into the room that the Seer spawns in.

From my experience, only (some) nameds will see invis.

Item is NO DROP and priests only. (CLR/DRU/SHM)

Good luck!

edit:

its a very rared drop of a very rare spawn. i camped seer 4 days/4-6h until he spawned and dropped charm for me.

Hehe.. I'm just imagining this clown running around crying with his hands i nthe air after some "loser" shammy or druid has him snared or slowed, and a 1200 pt right click DoT ticking away... as well as a pet, and numerous other dots and debuffs... You would think he would know better, being from a pvp server...

Can't exactly master h2h as a cleric, when you max out at 75,pretty intelligent on SoE's part to miss this little fact.

classes
# Mar 04 2003 at 7:18 PM Rating: Default
I believe that you must master all weapons available to that class. Clerics have 1hb, 2hb and hand to hand. I would assume that all the above mentioned must do this.
RE: classes
# Mar 05 2003 at 11:07 AM Rating: Default
Clerics only have 2 weapons skills which is 1hb and 2hb while shammies have Piercing 1hb & 2hb, then druids have 1hs 1hb&2hb so it's just to make sure that the clerics dont have it as easy as the others.

Believe it or not, shamen also have 1hs skill. There are a few axes we can use out there. I don't remember the name of it, but at level 3 or so, while killing stuff in Feerrott, a crappy axe (might have been a basic rusty axe) dropped that I used for a few more levels. got my 1hs skill up to 15 or so :)

As a Shaman, I mellee a lot, mostly for fun, but i can hit for about 100dmg with my 2Hb, at 199 skill. Working on my 1Hb now, waiting on Epic to lvl peircing more, both over 150 now. Only weak on hand to hand, but i would love to have this one!

Silly non boxed clerics always try to melee at 60+
RE: skills
# Mar 05 2003 at 3:52 PM Rating: Default
Try and get one of them to melee with their fist though, heehee.... that would be funny. I have this summoned 28/20 club that procs an unresistable 400DD, 100 mana tap, 6 second stun every other hit, or... my fist. lol, I like this item, many of the charms I've seen/read so far add more to the game than just hack and slash, they encourage character developement. Agree with the cleric meleer's though, with KEI/Yaulp4 (or better) meleeing regens mana almost as, if not more, quickly than sitting. (not a cleric, so correct me if wrong) *edit, alt is not a high lvl cleric...*

RE: skills
# Mar 09 2003 at 3:58 AM Rating: Default
Almost but not quite, i regen about 13 mana per tick sitting. Yaulp V is about 10 mana per tick, but *only* if you time it just right so as to recast the moment it drops.

Sitting is better, but not by much.

Is this picture from someone who has mastered their weapons? Or does the stats go higher than this?

It's a nice addition to my equipment either way, but would be nice to know.
RE: Hmmmm?
# Mar 04 2003 at 6:01 PM Rating: Decent
I was wondering the exact same thing, are those the maxed stats or what?
RE: Hmmmm?
# Mar 06 2003 at 6:45 AM Rating: Default
I'd be very surprised if anyone of these classes routinely had all their melee skills maxed at the levels needed to attain these charms. I am a lvl 52 Shammy & have 187 1HB & 183 Piercing, but my 2HB sucks (in the 25-50 region from memory). Most priests I know have at least 1 melee skill of about 6 (which is about what my hand-to-hand is!)

However, a lot of people also have a load of unused practices with their guildmaster. And if ur skill is low then u can stick in 25pts or more for less than 10pp. It's a good way to get those skills up quick if u don't like the idea of meleeing.

Otherwise get a friendly chanter to haste u - it makes those melee skills soar.
RE: Hmmmm?
# Mar 09 2003 at 3:06 AM Rating: Default
How can you be a shaman and not have your melee skills maxed? How easy is it to keep up rage or the equivalent =P All i know is that this is an extra 5ac for my character,
RE: Hmmmm?
# Mar 14 2003 at 11:44 AM Rating: Default
Well, I used Piercing pretty much 100% until fairly recently (it was maxed at the time). But when I switched to a 1HB weapon my skill was under 100. I'm almost maxed now, but you'd be surprised how slow these skills go up, even with alacrity.

And yes, I always keep Rage up (which gives about 20 to my ac).
