Sorry hit enter to soon

I have killed about 20 of these and still no ring. Just dagger and parts. Anybody know how common the ring is?

The Ring seems to be Uncommon, maybe rare, but seeing as the item drops from multiple creatures, this increases the chance to get the drop.

Items such as the Patchwork Jetsam, Sharpened Flotsam, etc. which also drop from multiple mobs, seem to be of a similar rarity.

2cp: Items I would call rare in Gunthak would be the ones that drop from named mobs, such as Mokon Brokenskull or Guard Dragrik, due to the fact that only one mob drops them, if that mob has even spawned.

I just got this ring from a Luggald Subverter (not Concealer) in Gulf of Gunthak.

Don't know how common, as it dropped on the first one.
nice price :)

Howdy,
I was loitering in the bazaar tonight checking prices and bargain hunting when I saw this little gem and about fell out of my chair when I saw the 500pp price-tag! I quickly bought and later found it on this site averaging for 4k??? Unreal I tell ya!

Dropped off of a gnome commoner for me while killing residents in the huts near the Dulak zoneline. Incidentally, I would definitely not call this a common drop. I've killed probably about 150 citizens before I saw this ring drop.

Boars wear rings!

Just thought I'd let you all know that I got one off of a tamed boar in one of the huts near the Dulak zone line. Seems like it could be a random drop of any of the higher level mobs.

Got one last night!

4 man group there last night on Tholuxe. Zone was pretty empty. Had one ring drop, and 4 of the Golden Trinkets.

Before logging off, check Bazaar, and there was one selling for 4500pp. I kept mine for the time being tho. It's my poor-man's Valorium Ring of Gallantry :)

I hate to throw a wrench in the works here, but I just looted mine off a Luggald Subverter, so the residents are not the only ones who can drop it
Got Mine!
# Mar 20 2003 at 8:45 AM Rating: Decent
Got mine last night after 2 nights of hunting there. It as Aleuran said, my drop was off a resisdent. My 53rd lvl BST had no problems single pulling them, very small aggro radius. If you hang a hard left right as you reach this area and stay along the back wall your pretty much safe. Had a Luggy Watchman jump me once, but I think that was my fault. First night I was there till KEI ran out(bout 3 and a half hours), made 400pp and a full yellow bub of exp solo. Last night was there an hour and a half and it dropped for me. Need to watch out for the Luggy Subverters, they are Enc and will use fear and Mez on you. Nothing sucks more them being mezzed while your pet is taking a beating. =)

Don't be scared of the Subverters. There are several tactics you can use on them.

1. Is to stay WAY out of the fight and pop back into range every now and again to throw a quick pet heal. Obviously this way the pet is going to take most of the damage so you want resist spells on him, also the L52 BST spell "Aid of Khurenz" is a good choice for this tactic since it has 200 range instead of 100 even if it does heal for less (also it casts faster and costs less mana).

2. Cast the DoT "Sicken" on yourself just before the fight (keep it memmed). This will break charm and mez spells if they get cast on you (v important). Use "Spirit of Wind" so that your pet interrupts casting better. Go for your most powerful DoTs stacked on the chanter and your 300 DD spell. Fear is your only real problem, and it CAN land you in some sticky situations after it wears off and your in the middle of some nasty thangs. Remember to re-sic pet on target once mez/fear wears off. A friend of mine told me he had some luck with cancel magic to remove pet mez/charm/fear but i've never wanted to risk losing haste/spirit so not tried it yet.

Fought these guys a number of times with my L54 BST, they are fairly wussy with the right tactics.

Nice ring, never had it drop yet, gratz on getting yours ;)

From what answer
# Mar 01 2003 at 12:41 AM Rating: Good
It drops of Citizens in the back of the main cave. How do you get there = follow the cave all the way through staying to the right you will hit a little town/village with huts. In the huts are commoners, residents, and citizens. You are going to have to spend alot of time killing there if you want this ring it can drop off any of them and is a rare drop. The reason you might be seeing alot of them now is cause the zone is flooded with lvl 50+ players slaughtering everything that moves.

Soo..heh

Where does this drop? =)
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 28 2003 at 5:46 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Allakhazam said to include MOB info when you submit items. Don't be a prick. Nothing is unique anymore, so you may as well share the info and not be a jerk.

Before you go all out and become the prick yourself....I did submit the info on where this dropped, just because it isn't listed doesn't mean I didn't do my part. MAYBE they just haven't had time to get all the information in there...considering it drop of a regular mob and not a named. Geeze, a simple "where did this dropped" question would have gotten you more info then I am willing to give you now!
