I got this item off of creatures in Marus Seru, as well. I think it was from the Ancient Zelniak.

These are also found on Frost Giant Scouts, by the way.
I picked mine up off a Drachnid Webmaster (i think) in Dreadlands.

Thit is not a new item. I beliec its been around as long as EQ necros have had to do research. ;)
