Unforunately, since the pet canni nerf, these veils are vastly less useful than they were. I sold one a few days ago for 1500pp, but the average price seems to be more like a couple of hundred when I see them in the bazaar.

I think necros should like it even more, except that mages usually chain summon their pets.
Mage pets cost a max of 400, while necro pets cost a max of 650 mana.
I paid 1k on Cazic Thule just the other day and at lvl 15 my necro can really notice the difference.

Summoning Efficiency does not affect nec/sk pets. Reanimation Efficiency does.
Casting the lvl 49 pet I use up 26% of my mana, with or without this item. Also you do not get the focus effect text (XY flickers with a pale blue light).

As of a patch or 2 ago, the "summoning" Focus items apply to all pets, including Necromancers' skeleton pets, and Beastlords' Warders.
However, Necros typically summon a pet once, med up and start killing. Mages often summon pets to regenerate mana: at 51 my Mage can get 50% of their mana bar back in about a minute by summoning pets and then using Reclaim Energy to get back more than the mana used to summon them. With one of these masks to further reduce the cost of the pet summon, it will be even faster... should be another 30-40 mana per pet.

As of the 6\5\02 patch this item now has the worn effect off "Summoning Efficienty III"

Did i get ripped off? i paid 450pp for this. i know the price says over 2k but with prices being the way they are nowadays one never can tell. Thank you.
I saw it last time sold by a merchant in the EC Tunnel for over 13.000pp. I guess the Player who sold the item got less than 100pp...

The Monk I have on the Tribunal has one of these. Low wt, hps, good ac all make this a very good choice for the face. Picked one up for about 2k myself.

this thing rocks, very good im a monk was using a quest mask from velius seen this selling for 1k and bought it..on lanys i think going price is around 8k /shrug
