unfortunatly when you get this high up in the EP, chances are you are killing FR on a "dayly" basis (atleast in a rota) and other EP legg mold droppers....who would spend DKP on this crap then? not me. would go real cheap for the impatient casters.
Firstly, an Elemental-enabled guild will most likely have some 100 tagged members, if not more. Silk-wearers seem to make up a large chunk of that population (can never have too many wizards) in my guild.
Secondly, Elemental legs are only dropped off the Elemental gods, and some Time mobs. So the odds of your guild farming the crap out of Ele legs are slim, most likely.
Thirdly, this guy has a relatively fast respawn rate. Under 24 hours, it seems. Much much much easier to farm.
So yeah, maybe they're not as good as Elemental legs, but they're damned nice nonetheless, and much easier to obtain.
You're comparing a drop off a 1-2 group mob to an Elemental God.
Edit: Sure, if your guild is Time enabled, or at least very well equipped, etc, elemental legs may be a viable farming opportunity. But not all guilds enter Elementals and immediately skip to the Gods. In the meantime, I choose to gear up for the encounters awaiting me, rather than sit there in ornate and Velious and Luclin stuff waiting to be showered in EP patterns.

These are indeed some very, very decent pants. Good caster legs tend to be very few and far between. In fact, they are arguably one of the hardest slots to find decent gear for.
