Scars of VeliousI can verify this quest still works. Completed 5/11/04. This was a very fun quest soloable with a 65 bard.
The hardest part was the Cherti RuneMage in DN. Had to kill him 7 times before he dropped the claw.

Very North middle of zone , underwater to get there, then come up into a kinda siren temple area. (Tiered cylindrical columns on one side with mobs standing on the tops, a central raised stage, and a couple tiers of ramped shelf like areas around the inside walls, a few short side tunnels too. (Sorry for not the best technical description but I haven't been there in awhile. It was really a great spot to farm the high end quest jewels in it's day. I always found it very graphically pleasing as well). Anyway hopes this helps answer the question a little.

Ok, I have been playing a lot more on PVP, is that effect contant... being if I am just wearing it, I will see anyone invis? Or is it a clickable? Either way its great and I seriously boubt I will ever own one... but you never know. I do have a rather nice Mask of decpetion right now though. nevermind it says WORN ... duh. still nice item in any case, nicer in pvp with sight and resists. nice pvp rogue item.

This with a Spell Haste II aug would make a nice upgrade to the Fine Cut, Diamond Inlaid Mask, unless someone already has Spell Haste on another item. If so, maybe a SV Magic aug or +Mana aug, to offset the losses from switching the items. Even without augs, this mask is GREAT.

Sometimes i look at this item and it has effect Truesight then other times it has effect Sha's Vengance!
Now obviously the Sha's Vengance would be amazing for an effect, but is still a nice mask with Truesight... I just wanna know what it is i am questing for.

The platinum dragon scale can be dropped by siren sorceresses in Sirens Grotto.

Posted: Dec 06 2002 at 6:10 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Wow in 5 days of exp you could have seen that there was a new spawn point in the drop down to lower kobold, where a kobold sorcerer now spawns,who drops the eye as an uncommon (maybe rare and we have been lucky).
