Does the shammy ornate gear have abilities? if so why are thay not listed

Just to clear things up. Lvl 55 here NO flags and am wearing all but the chest and boots. The elemental is the only one that requires lvl 65.
While I agree stat wise that the elemental beats the ornate hands down, some of the ornate has some awesome effects and as such I would never get rid of them just because of the effect but would rather switch them out as I needed. The ornate chain legs for rogues "Stanos Wicked Leggings" have a right click summon scorie venom poison. This poison isnt even trivial at 250 skill and is a 75dd with a spell interrupt. With high dex it procs all the time from my runebladed dagger though I have yet to make the pattern into pants (due to a tier3 flagging issue I am working on now).

Ornates are don through a quest Bor won't give it to you unless you are 55 or properly flagged (through POP progression)

yah right Rocqu, dont be one too and realize that to make and wear ornate stuff you just have to be lvl 55...it's been proven!

Where do these required levels come from? My ornates do not list level requirements on them.

Are these NO DROP now?
These will probably not become no drop. You won't see a level 50 anything wearing elemental armor since you must have the proper flags on your character to receive the container to combine the armor in .. doubtful anyone's level 50 char can get flagged properly to obtain that.
Making them droppable just makes it easier to collect them and hand them out among the guild at a later time.

Elemental patterns are nodrop, so you definitely won't see twinks wearing them.

LvL 50 will not be able to wear it since its required lvl 65 to wear any piece.

wrong, 65 is required lvl for ELemental armor, Ornate has no requirement other than the 55 you need for Bor Warhammer to give you the Emblem

Ornate drops in tier 3 zones such as BoT found plate arms htere gonna make em seems no one else ahs yet as far as elemental yes tier 4+ Tower of solsek PoT and the like

For comparison, the Ornate warrior helm (Kizrak's Helmet of Battle) is 34ac, 60hp, some other stats, pretty nice but in my opinion not nice enough to justify what it takes to get to HoH where the ornate molds drop.
The Elemental warrior helm is the best helm in the game to my knowledge. Raex's Helm of Destruction, 60ac, 160hp, 25sta, 20str, 15dex, 10agi, save fire/cold 5, magic/disease 20. Elemental molds supposedly drop in Tier 4 zones, I believe Tower of Sol Ro was mentioned.

Where does the Elemental molds/patterns drop? Has anyone gotten any of this armor yet? And I guess I am safe in assuming that the Elemental and the Ornate pieces drop in zones according to levels of difficulty. Which of these are going to be the better?

Ornate armour can be farmed in a single group in SolRo. Grouped there for about 1.5-2 hours and had 5 patterns drop.
Only thing that won't drop from trash is BPs/Robes. Those drop off the Generals (Xuzl, Dres, Jiva, Rizlona, Arlyxir) as well as some of the BoT tower named.
Elemental, on the other hand, requires guild raid force to drop, not to mention the hastle of getting Elemental Flagged in the first place.
Easier to get a full suit of Ornate than one piece of Elemental, pretty much :P

Elemental is the Best it beats down Ornate here for ornate this is warrior Helm compare the two it clearly shows how much better Elemental is.
