I got this a while back for my ranger, saw one person that had it, and the unique look of it/stats got me going. It took me a very long time but i was lucky to get one on Terris Thule for 16k, and oh my god. Ive seen 2 people on the entire server that have a FoS, and only two sellers ever. I get asked for a link of it all the time, and occasional offers. Call me crazy, but i wouldnt sell it for 50k :) I also dual weild it with a Tox axe and I love the combo more than anthing!
Wtf are you talking about 3 classes propheting of the mana? bards barely use it andd then of course rangers do, but warriors and rogues? oh wait your right the other day i got buffed by a rogue 8*~)
I like the Copper Hammer of Striking because sometimes I do end up tanking and the 158 DD is nice. I think the proc makes up for the .038 difference in weapon efficiency. I also like the stats on the hammer better because it has hella HP.
I also like the Wind-Worn Handblade.. It is slightly faster than the hammer, has 1/2 the proc only 60 DD and draws less aggro. Also if you close ur eyes u can pretend its Earthcaller. WWH has same ratio as Falchion, better stats, a proc ... but it also costs 2x as much.
for high level (53 or more) thereĀ“s only a few weapons better than this for a ranger primary. i cheked almost all buyable weapons and this one is awesome
My ranger uses this weapon and i think its one of the better Pre-Ssra raid weapons you can get. It outperforms the SboZ and is a perfect compliment to your epic in offhand (swiftwind) As for warriors there are beter weapons to get aggro with (even slower) but this is a great main hander for a 1/2 epic weilding ranger and not too shabby for a bard either.
My 55 Ranger duels a FoS and a SBoZ. Top that off with a CoCCW and I am one very effective Ranger in areas that I cant drop them with a bow. I have tried lots of combinations but this is probably the best in the game from lvl 55 to 60 for sure.
It says right on the picture, WAR RNG BRD ROG. As for a warrior weapon. This thing would kick some serious ***. Sure, take yer high end DMG dealing weapons... But, you look at all of them and they're delay's are slow for the most part. I can't stand anything that has a 22 or higher delay on it. (Call me a speed freak) But, when I get aggro, the mob doesn't bash anyone else. The resists on the weapon make it very handy for a warrior as well. Up front and wackin, we commonly get hit with spells and need as many resists as we can get our hands on. And the agil helps out with our parry/dodge and AC. If yer other weapon happens to have a proc on it. There's some dex too, not that it matters much... But, hey. Any ability bonuses are good ones. I'll put it to anyone to try and find a 1hs with a 12/18 on it that's 2lbs or less, with the stats on this thing too boot. Ain't gunna happen. Sure, you'll find tons of 1hs's that have higher then 12 dmg on em, but they're all gunna be slow. And you'll see the guys with the low end dmg weapons stealin aggro from ya, like Lammies (9/19) for example. Give me a Falchion of the Storms 12dmg 18delay +5dex/agil +10svf/svm 2.0weight and, in my off hand, a Swiftblade of Zek 11dmg 18delay +10AC +10str +100hp 0.1weight and try and get aggro, or beat the dmg I'd put out compaired to nearly anything else that's melee.

Ummm, there are lots of weapons with 20 or less delay and equal or better damage, to list a few: Jagged Shard of Frozen Flame 17/20 Acrylia Handled Broadsword 16/19 Bonechiller 14/17 Bloodfrenzy 16/20 Twin Blade of Sorrow 15/19 Short Bone Blade of the Grimling 15/19
I did a search for warrior useable 1hs with ratio x5 and damage x1 and got 21+ weapons with delay 20 or less and damage 12 or more, and most of them have procs.

A warr with one of the abovementioned weapons would beat out more damage and agro. As would a rogue, or a monk, or a ranger. A rogue would put out more damage even with weapons that aren't as good, as would an am3 ranger using archery. And talking of agro? Let's just say there's a reason most xp groups prefer a pally/sk for MT over a warrior (talking single group xp grinds here).
